“Elin?” He bit my nipple, pulling me from my head. “Come back to me, lass.”
“A-Arran?”
“There you are.” He brushed the hair back from my face. “Are you okay? Is this too much?”
I dropped my hand down to his shoulder as I leaned forward, brushing my lips against his. “I’m good. It was just… I was… lost.”
He shifted his hold of me, sliding his arm under my ass. My body shifted, moving him inside me. I gasped. The feeling gave me an anchor, something to hold on to so that I didn’t float away again.
Under this new hold, I was able to move a little on my own. And with the help of his shoulders, I lifted myself up his body before slamming down.
Arran spun us, resting his body against the wall, giving me more room. “That’s it. Take what you need. You’re so sexy.”
Again, I followed his command. This time I didn’t get lost. While giving him control, I still maintained some for myself. I continued to lift and lower my body while rolling me hips, allowing him to hit all those places that drove me wild. Meanwhile when his mouth wasn’t busy kissing my chest, my neck, my mouth, he let those dirty words flow freely, telling me how good I was. How I made him feel. What he was going to do to me next time.
I climbed higher and higher. The coils of passion and pleasure wound tighter and tighter. I grunted and groaned. Each brush of his mouth, each word, they all worked together. My muscles tensed in anticipation. Then Arran slipped his free hand between us, flicking his thumb nail over my clit.
That was all it took.
That dam inside me burst.
I saw stars. I floated among them, weightless.
And then I was back. Back in my own sweaty, but sated body.
“Fuck, that was…”
He brushed away some of the hair that stuck to the side of my face. “Incredible. Awesome. Life changing.”
“Yeah.” I collapsed against him, resting my head on his shoulder as exhaustion pulled me down.
He rubbed my back. “Let’s get you cleaned up and then you can nap.”
“But, the slow version, the one in bed.”
“Will still be waiting for you. Now that I’ve had all of you, once was not enough. A lifetime wouldn’t be enough.”
I murmured my agreement, but I don’t know if he heard me or understood because everything became fuzzy as he carried me away.
The sun was still relatively high in the sky when I woke, in bed and clean, after a little nap. At leastlittlewas what I was telling myself since I couldn’t believe I’d fallen asleep again. I shifted in the bed, pleased when my leg didn’t even twinge.
“Yes.” I slid across the bed and placed both feet on the floor, ready to stand when the door opened.
“You’re awake. And trying to stand.” Arran raised one eyebrow as he stared at me.
“I am.” I grinned back. I wanted nothing more than to be independent again. At least enough to go to the bathroom alone without being carried everywhere. I stood, slowly transferring my weight to my injured leg. My mouth screwed up into a grimace. It didn’t hurt as much as before, but I still couldn’t put enough weight on it to allow me the freedom of movement I wanted.
He pushed off the dresser he’d rested against and walked towards me, holding out his arms. “Don’t look so sad. You’re doing incredibly well to be able to do what you can. Remember, it was only yesterday that you were injured.”
My shoulders slumped. “I know, I just…”
He stroked the side of my face with his index finger. “I know. You want to be independent. And you will be again. Soon. Now, let’s get you back to the couch where you can rest until Hurrit gets back.”
“Will you tell me more about your business?” I asked as he swung me up into his arms and carried me back to the living.
After placing me on the couch, he pulled out a photo album. “This shows a little about our business. The rest of our photos are up on the walls of the northern lodge.”
I flipped it open as he settled in beside me, explaining various pictures, telling me the chronological growth of their company. On one page, I saw a familiar face. “I know this guy.”
