“We could always go pay him a visit…” he murmured. When he was met with silence, he glanced over at Zach, who was nowstanding, holding a shirt in his hands, head tilted to the side, as if he was thinking about it.
After a long moment, he seemed to realize Kincaid was looking at him and met his gaze.
“I don’t think she’d like that.” Zach sighed. “As tempting as it is.”
Zach was probably right. She might even be upset with them. Amy was a peacemaker, from what he could tell, and she wasn’t going to want to be responsible for creating more conflict. It would likely do more harm than help.
He was still going to keep it in mind for the future. If Jeremy was smart, he wouldn’t try to reach out again.

The week somehow both crawled and zipped by until Friday. Work felt slower than ever. His mom called to chat on Wednesday night, and he hid in his and Kincaid’s bedroom so that she didn’t hear Amy’s voice while he was talking to her. And his sister texted to see if he and Kincaid wanted to get together on Saturday night to meethernew boyfriend.
To which he and Kincaid had said yes. Amy was having her dress-burning party tomorrow, so getting together with his sister then worked out. Otherwise, he would have felt bad about leaving her at home alone.
Which might sound weird since it wasn’t like she was part of his and Kincaid’s relationship, but…
Their evenings during the week had been what zipped by. Watching her watch some of his favorite movies was incredibly fun. Though, she did yell at him every time she cried, which was more than he’d thought she would. He was expecting alotof yelling when they got toInfinity WarandEndgame.Totally worth it.
Amy might not be part of his and Kincaid’s relationship, but she wasn’t exactlynota part of it anymore. They’d spent every evening this week together, and neither he nor Kincaid felt like she was an intruder on their time. In fact, it had almost been odd to go back to their room just the two of them, and when they’d had sex, he’d almost felt bad about her being alone in her room. He’d even considered asking Kincaid how he would feel about them inviting her to join them.
He was starting to feel like he didn’t want her to ever leave.
But he couldn’t think like that.
Eventually, she was going to go.
This was temporary.
Unless everyone agreed it didn’t have to be.
Stop thinking like that.
It was way, way too soon to be thinking like that. He didn’t know if Kincaid felt the same way. Though… he thought the other man might. Kincaid was almost treating her like he did Zach when it came to being around the house, and Zach really didn’t mind.
Other than that one morning of feeling left out last weekend, this whole week, he’d adjusted to it being the three of them. Sometimes, he and Kincaid were having their own conversation; sometimes, he and Amy were; and sometimes, Kincaid and Amy were. And they shared whatever the third party missed once they were all together.
Living with a third person was way easier than expected, though he was pretty sure that was due to the third person being Amy. He doubted it would be like this with anyone else.
“Ready for tonight?” Kincaid asked, coming out of their closet. He and Zach had opted to wear suits for tonight. Well, Kincaid was wearing a suit jacket and pants. Zach couldn’t consider him fully dressed in a suit without the tie, which Kincaid wasn’t wearing.
Zach was wearing a full suit. Both suits were grey, though Zach’s was a steel grey and Kincaid’s more of a morning dove grey. He’d picked out a grey and navy-blue patterned tie to wear, which matched the navy-blue and silver cufflinks on his shirt sleeves and the tie clip that he was sliding on.
“Hell, yeah,” he said, admiring how Kincaid’s shoulders filled out the suit. Even if he did refuse to wear a tie, he looked hot as hell. Zach loved it when the other man dressed up. “You look good.”
Kincaid’s gaze sharpened, a slow smile spreading across his lips, and he changed course from wherever he was headed to come closer to Zach, sauntering with the cocky confidence Zach enjoyed so much.
“So do you,” he said, coming into Zach’s space. Zach tipped his head back slightly, smiling, as Kincaid’s body pressed against his. Kincaid’s arm wrapped around Zach’s back, pulling him fully against him as they kissed. He groaned against Kincaid’s mouth as he felt the other man’s cock hardening against him. His own dick thickened, lengthened, rubbing against Kincaid’s through their pants.
Devouring his mouth, Kincaid held him there for several long seconds before releasing him.
“If we don’t go now, we’ll never get out the door,” he said, his voice low and husky.
“Right, right.” Zach huffed, sighing when Kincaid let him go. They had plans for tonight. Big ones. And not just because they’d be watching Justin, Chris, and Jessica perform. “Let’s go.”
It was worth it. Amy was waiting for them in the front room, and her eyes lit up as they came in, her gaze bouncing back and forth between them like a pinball. She hopped up from where she was sitting in the chair, facing the hallway as she waited for them, and brushed her hands down over her skirt. They’d toldher how they planned to dress so she could match them, and she did.
