Enea laughs and kisses Felicity on the forehead. “You sound like my Gia. Maybe the next time.”

“She definitely fits in with our girls.” Giacomo chuckles.

We all study the floor plan one more time, so we know what we’re going to be seeing inside. The owner said the layout hasn’t been altered in any way.

“Have you ever shot a gun?” Giacomo asks me and my brothers.

“We have, we’re hunters so we’re familiar with guns. In fact, we all carry one daily.”

The looks on their faces makes me laugh.

“I wouldn’t have guessed any of you were packing.” Armando laughs.

“That’s what Emma said when she found out.” I chuckle.

“Okay. Does everyone know what we’re doing? We’ll catch Noah, Galen, Celestino and Mitchell up when we meet up with them. You all need to remember that we don’t really know what William is like or if Richard is armed. Your vests will stop a bullet, but be safe. I don’t plan on losing anyone today,” Enea says.

Enea hugs each one of us.

“You’re a Mancini now. We take care of each other and never say no when one of us needs something. Don’t ever forget that. If you ever need us again, call and we will come.”

“We will come too. The Bastianinis and the Mancinis?—”

“And the Southside,” Armando adds in.

Enea and Giacomo chuckle.

“Sì, and the Southside, we take care of each other. We will get Emmanuelle back and you will live a long and happy life.” Giacomo smiles as he hugs each of us too.

“Thank you so much for everything. I don’t know what we would’ve done if we had to do this alone.”

“Familia,” our new family says together.

It takes us about thirty minutes to get to the meeting spot. Salvatore and Celestino went to switch places with Noah, Galen, Celestino and Mitchell. I’m a little scared of what will happen, but that fear won’t stop me. I need my Emma back in my arms. And if I have to kill someone to do that, I will.

“I know what you’re thinking, figlio. You won’t kill anyone. If it has to be done, you leave it to us. You don’t want to live with that on your conscious. Trust me,” Enea says quietly.

Even though I know Enea’s right, I just don’t know how I’ll react if they’ve hurt Emma. Can I really walk away and let them deal with William and Richard?

“Emmanuelle comes first. Just make sure she’s okay and don’t leave her. Trust me on that. When my Luciana was taken, her Rónán wasn’t with us. But he made sure to be by her side every minute after we brought her back. That’s what Emma will need from you,” Giacomo says to me.

“Didn’t Rónán want revenge?” I ask.

“At the time, Rónán didn’t know how our club worked. So he had no idea what was going on. But when he was brought into the family? Yes. And he still does. He wanted to be here when we found out that T-Rex was involved in this. But he’ll join us after. Today is the end of T-Rex, that much I know.”

“Can I be there too?”

Enea and Giacomo look at each other. They don’t answer for a few seconds.

“Sì. We will be taking them both alive. After we secure them, we will let you come in and say your peace.”

“Are you going to kill them?”

“Sì.”

The finality in Giacomo’s voice tells me he’s made up his mind.

“I let that man go once and he’s come back and hurt someone else. I won’t make that mistake again.”
