“I hope not.”

Wincing at the loss of connection, I pulled out and rolled to Jasmine’s side.

“Have you decided if we’re going to tell Dario and Cat?” I asked.

Jasmine buried her face in my shoulder. “Mia warned me.” She lifted her face to mine. “Roríguez men are definitely fertile.”

A scoff caused my chest to jiggle. “We can wait to let them know.” I lowered my hand to her stomach. “You’re not showing at all, except for your boobs. If anything, you seem skinnier.”

“Contessa told me I need to eat.”

“Mí madrewon’t tell.”

Jasmine couldn’t hide the pregnancy frommí mamá, as she suffered serious morning sickness in the beginning. As a matter of fact,Madrecalled the pregnancy before we did.

“I know, but since Josefina knows, I feel like Dario and Catalina should too.”

“And then I can tell Jano and Mia.” I smoothed Jasmine’s silky hair. “Just think, our baby can grow up with Ariadna Gia and Jorge as cousins.”

“This alliance certainly knows how to procreate.”

As I was almost asleep, Jasmine asked, “Did you notice Isabella at dinner tonight?”

Isabella Luciano.

“Is this a trick question?”

She sat up, exposing her luscious growing breasts. “No, why would it be a trick question?”

“Because Dario wanted me to marry…” I pressed my lips together. “Never mind, I saw her but didn’t particularly notice her.”

Jasmine’s eyebrows danced. “I think Em did. They were talking by the fireplace.”

I let out a sigh. “Do you think Carmine will stand by his word and allow her to marry?”

“I’ve never liked Carmine or Salvatore, but the final word is Dario’s.”

“Hopefully, the capo’s forgiven Em for taking you to the Green Lady Lounge.”

Jasmine giggled. “He’s forgiven you.”

I ran my hand over her soft skin. “Do you think the capo will want to be calledabuelo?” I lifted my brows. “Grandpa.”

“I don’t know.”

I kissed her hair. “Good night,SeñoraRoríguez. I love you.”

“Buenas noches,mí marido.” She rubbed her nose against mine. “Did I say that right?”

“Sí, mi esposa. Estarás hablando español cuando nuestro bebé se gradúe de la universidad.”

“That was yes, right?”

My cheeks rose in a grin. “That was yes.”
