She whimpers and grinds her ass against my hard length. “You know I am.”

“Think I can make you come without burying myself inside you?”

“Please.” The single syllable is a cry. “I need your cock.” She’s so damn close already, and all I’ve done is spank her ass. If I took one of her nipples in my mouth, that might be enough to send her over the edge. But I want to feel that pussy flutter around my cock. I want to experience every pulse of her orgasm.

I pepper kisses across her shoulder, then down her spine. When I reach the base, I straighten and grip her hips. “Only because you asked so nicely.” In one hard thrust, I seat myself fully inside her. “Holy shit.” Her heat takes my breath away. It’s only been two days, but I’ll never take for granted how perfect being joined with her feels. I could live inside my wife. Thisconnection makes me feel like the most powerful man on the planet. Being her husband is literally all I’ve wanted since the day I first saw her in that elevator more than a decade ago.

“Yes, Beckett, right there. Oh god, I’m going to come.”

I smack her ass again, and in response, she squeezes my cock, sending a shot of electricity pulsing down my spine. “Yes, come all over my cock, Livy. Fuck.”

My balls tighten, and then I’m coming right along with her. As we come back down, panting and breathless, I remain hunched over my wife. I refuse to let her go, but I don’t want to crush her either. I press kisses to her back, unable to stop. “I love you so much.”

She wiggles beneath me, and I slip from her warm, wet heat. Rolling her to her side, I lie next to her and brush her hair from her face.

“I love you too. But you really need to stop meddling, baby. We would have been fine even if you hadn’t flown here to keep an eye on me.”

Sighing, I press a kiss to her forehead. “Can I agree to stop meddling after this trip?”

Liv frowns. “Why?”

I grin. “I’m working on something. But I promise, everyone will be happier for it.”

Chapter 16

Beckett

“Iwant to thank all of you for coming.” I scan the living room of our Key West house, looking at each member of our family. Every seat is taken, and most of the floor is covered by little people sitting with their legs crossed. No one here looks nearly as excited as I feel.

“Like we had a choice,” Rowan grumbles.

“Technically we all make choices.” Phoebe lifts her head from where she’s busy trading stocks.

“It’s true,” Collette agrees, though she doesn’t even look up from her phone.

From her spot on Cortney’s lap, Dylan hums. “Yes. The universe may provide opportunities, but we must choose to accept them. You chose to accept being kidnapped, Rowan. Own it.”

“Now that the moms know we’re here, can I have my own bed?” Liam asks.

I frown down at him. “You had your own bed.”

“It’s a futon,” he grumbles to his baby sister, who’s happily patting his cheeks and babbling.

“Yeah, do I get my own bed too?” Rowan chirps.

Annoyance coursing through me, I pull at my hair. “Fuck.”

“That’s a thousand dollars Bossman.” This, of course, comes from Finn, who’s standing at my side, arms crossed, wearing a disappointed frown.

Duck.

“Sorry, Huck. I’ll do better. But no,” I say firmly. “We’re all going to have to share rooms with our families. The moms too.”

They are, at least. Livy and I will take the master while our three kids bunk together, but there’s no sense in bringing that up right now.

Delia’s relaxed demeanor sharpens. For the last several minutes, she’s been smiling adoringly at Enzo, which actually made me feel as though I’d found myself in an alternate universe. Now, though, she’s back to being the Medusa we all love—or are told we love. “Why?”

There’s no fighting my proud smile. “Because I have solved everyone’s problems again.”
