“Of course I am.”
I caress her cheek with my thumb. “Last night was wonderful.”
She blushes and looks away. “It was wonderful. Too bad you won’t be here tonight.” She looks at me and winks again. “I guess I’ll just have to take care of myself.”
I growl. “You’ll do that only for me when I video call you tonight.”
“Maybe. We’ll see.” She gives me a flirty smile. “I’m hungry and you smell.” She holds her nose and waves her palm in front of her nose.
I laugh at her, “Okay. I get the hint. I’ll go shower.” I kiss her on her forehead again before standing up and start for the bathroom. I turn around and face her as she’s climbing out of bed. “Oh, and Mia, masturbation can go two ways.” I pull my cock out and stroke it a few times, showing her what she does to me.
Just as I close the bathroom door, I catch a glimpse of her shocked face; her mouth opened wide and now I need to jerkmyself off in the shower with the image of filling her mouth with my cock. Fuck.
I have a lot to do before I leave for Seattle later this morning. Texting Kendall, the property manager for the plaza where Mia’s shop will be located, I let her know I won’t be able to meet her; that’ll it just be Mia meeting with her today. I then let Mrs. Wilcox know of my schedule changes and that I’ll need resumes from human resources for a replacement for Eric.
This fucking sucks. I was looking forward to showing Mia her new shop today. I was hoping to see the look on her face and find out if it’s the right location for her; for what she envisioned for her bridal shop.
Following the smell of breakfast, I find Mia in the kitchen. I wrap my arms around her as she’s making plates at the island counter. “Good morning, again.”
“Good morning. Hungry?”
I pull her earlobe into my mouth with my teeth. “I am.” I growl.
She pushes me back with her amazing ass. “For breakfast, you horndog.”
I smile. “Well, if I can’t have one, I’ll have the other.” I take a seat at the dining room table. “Are you sure you’re going to be okay while I’m gone?”
She laughs as she sets down our breakfast plates. “Are you kidding? I have this amazing home to stay in, a business to get started, and appointments to make. I’ll be busy, too. It’s probably best that you go so I can get something done around here. You distract me.”
Sighing, “Thank you for understanding.”
Pancakes and eggs from Paula is my favorite meal. It smells so good. Neither one of us says a word while we’re eating. I really need to give that woman a raise.
“I saw you put the money in my bank account. I didn’t expect it until this arrangement was over.” She says sheepishly.
“What arrangement? Right now, I’m having breakfast with my fiancé.”
She smiles, “Well, thank you. I can start working on building my inventory today.”
“I’ve made arrangements for you to meet my property manager at Hibiscus Island Plaza on Ocean Avenue. She’ll have the property ready for you to move in the week after next since next Tuesday is the Fourth of July. I didn’t want her to be rushed with the vendors. I hope that’s okay. And if you hate the property, I have others around town, so just be honest with me. Okay?”
“Wow.” Mia looks down at her empty plate.
“What?”
She looks up at me and I can’t decipher the look on her face. “It’s really happening, isn’t it?”
“Us or the business?”
She smiles and blushes, “Both, but mostly Magical Moments.”
I nod. I’ve been creating businesses for so long that I forget the excitement and joy of starting something new. “Yes, Mia. This is really happening.” I wipe the corners of my mouth and place the napkin on the table. “Tell me. What are your plans for this week since I won’t be around to bother you?”
Her face lights up. “Well, I’ve hired an attorney and I’m meeting with her today. And then I’ll be going to the property to meet with your property manager.” She pauses as she thinks of what else she has planned. “Oh! I need to hire one or two staff tohelp me with the customers. And then I’ll need to schedule some appointments with some vendors to orchestrate inventory.”
She stands up and starts pacing the dining room and I’m in awe of her excitement. “I also need to meet with a couple of designers. I’m thinking I’m going to reach out to the local university and see if I can make connections with the professors at the design school there. You know, give some students a chance to gain some experience.”
“I’m impressed. That’s a really great idea.” And it has me thinking about the position I need to replace in Seattle and all kinds of ideas pop in my head.
