My breath caught in my throat.

Time was running out so quickly, the sands of the hourglass slipping away… but I needed to be bonded to them.

“Call him.”

“My Juno, he is acting as the guardian now.” Rask’s knot was softening, but he remained seated in me deeply, purring as he spoke. “I wish he could, but…”

“Please,” I asked, stroking his face. “At least let me see him. We’re running out of time.”

Zirin and Rask exchanged a long glance, but theKleefinally inclined his head.It couldn’t hurt to just be near him, he admitted.Anything that helps the bond…

Unlike Rask, he didn’t whistle. A look of intense concentration came over his face, even though his tentacles were still stroking me soothingly.

A minute passed.

“Did… did you call him?” I asked.

Zirin made the expression that I knew was a smile behind his tentacles.

I did.He nodded towards the island.

I turned my head, and my mouth dropped open.

Voraal was striding over the sand towards us, his horns gleaming with light.

But he was enormous, stretching towards the sky, shadows spilling out of him and darkening the island.

He was always tall, towering at least twelve feet, but this… it was like looking up at a skyscraper. He was at least forty feet high.

“Voraal.” His name came out of me as a whisper.

The titan stopped on the beach, but the sand quivered under us from his last thundering footsteps.

Rask’s knot had finally softened enough to slip free of my body, and I made a small sound as he pulled himself free. I disliked the feeling of being empty now.

But theMlul’dracarried me ashore, gently setting me on the beach at the titan’s feet.

Voraal knelt carefully. It was like watching a building tumble to earth, moving so slowly and yet so fast.

He extended a hand the size of a couch, and I climbed into his palm, my muscles aching pleasurably. The claws curled, wrapped around me like a cage as he lifted me into the air.

“I wanted to see you,” I said, looking up into his supernova gaze. “I was hoping we could do more, but… I understand you have to guard the Void.”

Voraal smiled. His skin gleamed like granite, smooth and poreless as stone.

When a slight chuckle rumbled out of him, I understood why he wasn’t speaking. Just the reverberations of that small laugh was like standing next to a jet engine, my lungs and organs shaking inside me.

I scooted to the edge of his palm, looking down. Good thing I didn't have vertigo.

He was perfectly formed, only… enormous. Even his cock was flawless, now eight feet long and as thick around as a barrel.

An idea popped into my head. A crazy idea.

One I wanted to try very badly.

“But you could guard the Void like this… and I could still touch you.” I raised my eyebrows, pointing down. “Let me sit on you.”

Voraal’s head tilted to the side, moving slowly.
