“I’m…” I was going to say in love, but I hadn’t told Dozer. Sharing something I know he’d want to keep for himself felt like a betrayal. Even telling Gabi.
“I’m…I want more than sex with Dozer, but I’m still sleeping with Romeo.”
“Vance is my Dom and fucks me in public. It’s no one’s business to judge.”
“Ugh, it seems like we both have a thing for bad boys and motorcycles.”
“Hard steel and sex appeal,” Gabi said. “They make us hot.”
And stupid. “Our family won’t be nice to Dozer.”
Gabi’s lips twisted. “Really? You’re worried about our family hurting his feelings? Have you met your boyfriend? They’ll behave with him.”
I laughed. “Right. Hellers can be intimidating.”
“And loyal.” Gabi groaned and leaned her head back. “You and Hana are a pain in the ass. The MC turned on Vance, but seeing Blade and everyone else again has changed him.”
“He seemed pretty upset with Blade. Does he want Hana out of the MC?”
“No, I’m afraid he wants back in.”
I couldn’t imagine Hana giving up the MC. Now that Blade was president, he was more committed than ever.
Gabi checked her phone. “Where is your sidekick? I’m starving.”
“I don’t know. She didn’t answer my phone call earlier.”
Her phone pinged. “Dio mio.” My God. “What happened?”
She turned her phone to show me the live feed from my driveway surveillance camera. “Che due coglioni!” What the fuck!
Dozer
“Did Levi say how it happened?” Romeo walked around Pippa’s car. A cigarette dangled from his lips as he pulled his hair into a man-bun.
“Not much, just that Pip didn’t want us to fix it because we’d use stolen parts.”
Romeo laughed. “She’s definitely gotten to know us.”
I’d gone into the house, found the spare key, and backed the car onto the driveway. Now, we assessed the damage.
Romeo lay on his back and slid under the vehicle. “She’s going to need a new muffler and tailpipe. We really need to get it on a lift.”
I nodded. “We can get the car up on blocks to get her a new exhaust, replace those tires, then we’ll get her in for the rest once we find the parts. At least, she’ll be able to drive it.”
Romeo slid back out from under the car, dusted off, and leaned against the driver’s door. “We can run and get the hearse.”
The hearse was a flatbed truck the MC used to haul dead bikes on long runs, carry supplies, and transport chopped parts for Lee.
Lee ran a salvage yard and secondhand parts store. We had a long-term arrangement. Hellers supplied in-demand parts like catalytic converters, and he didn’t question where they came from. I was sure I could get parts for Pippa’s bumper from him.
“I’m going to see my dad this afternoon. I can’t bail on him again.”
“I’ll get the parts and meet you back here this afternoon.”
My phone pinged. I wiped my hands on my jeans. “It’s Pippa.”
“She’s calling you?” Romeo asked.
