Or maybe next week.
Or maybe after the baby is born.

Chapter 26
Touchdown – when Hudson finally makes it to the endzone
Hudson
“Did you have fun?” I ask Nova as we enter our chalet.
“It was the best. Thank you for getting tickets. I loved how involved the audience was.”
I chuckle. “I don’t think anyone expected you to throw bread at the police.”
She shrugs. “Weston deserved it.”

“I don’t want you to think this relationship is only about the sex.”
“I don’t. But I do think I’m sexually frustrated.”
“Sexually frustrated?”
“Pregnancy increases a woman’s libido.” She pouts. “You’re not going to deny me again, are you? I thought you wanted to take care of me.”
I growl. “I do want to take care of you.”
“There’s more ways to take care of me than making me chicken noodle soup.”
She bats her eyelashes at me and I’m lost. How can I deny the woman I’m falling in love with?
“If we have sex—”
