I feel my phone vibrating in my bag but ignore it. If I take it out in front of Jacob, it will just turn into an argument, and I’m in no mood to deal with him.Am I ever really in the mood to deal with him? No!But ever since Caspian cornered me in front of him, he’s been extra nosey about who I’m texting. Mav texted me a million times trying to talk to me, but I refuse to speak to him right now. They can all get fucked. Except Axel. He’s different from his brothers. He brought me peace, even for only a short amount of time, and I can’t wait for it to happen again.I wonder if he likes to listen to music while painting. Now I’m kicking myself in the ass for not getting his number while I had the chance. Ugh.A throat clearing brings me back to the forefront.

“You should take a nap. It's going to be a while before we arrive.” He suggests and I nod, leaning my head back against the cold window, shutting my eyes only to see sad black ones. Taking a deep breath, I drift off to sleep, praying that maybe I just won’t wake up.

Hours, and I mean hours later, we finally arrive at the hotel in Montauk. It’s right on the beach. Jacob Lee opens the door for me and I step out, taking a deep breath of the ocean air as the seagulls squawk in the sky above us. I hope he gets shitted on. It would make my whole fucking weekend. We enter the building and everything is beach themed and pristine. The walls are a soft white and everything is furnished in a beige fabric with hints ofsea-green placed throughout, giving off a cozy feeling.

Looking around as I wait for him to check us in, I spot a bar and waiting area. There’s a restaurant attached with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors leading right for the sand. I can’t help myself as my feet gravitate towards the open doors and onto the sand. My hair whips in the breeze and I shut my eyes, letting the sun soak into my skin. Warm arms wrap around my waist as a soft kiss is placed on my cheek. I play my part and sink into him, wrapping my arms around his.

“I’d love to marry you here. This place is gorgeous and perfect for us to say ‘I do’.” He whispers and my stomach turns at the thought of being his wife.

“It is beautiful. Will we have time to spend on the beach for a few hours this weekend?” I ask as his nose runs up the column of my neck, causing me to shiver in disgust.

“Would that make you happy? Laying on the beach?” he asks and I nod. This Jacob Lee is who I fell in love with. The man holding me right now is completely different from the monster beneath his expensive clothing. I’m not sure what happened or what I did to make him the way he is now, but I hate him with a passion. So for now I soak in his sweetness because before long he will be forcing me to do the most depraved things. Sometimes I wish we could have a real conversation about how I feel, how he’s made me feel, but I know it will just anger him and then everything will be worse for me. So I leave it alone and put on a smile. I just hope he doesn't break me down into nothing. I hope one day I can truly stand on my own two feet and walk away with no repercussions.

“What are you thinking about?” he asks, kissing my neck.

“Just envisioning myself in a white dress, walking down the sandy aisle to you.” I lie, causing him to squeeze me tighter.Fuck. Another lie that flies off the tongue so easily.

“Soon baby. I want to be married before we leave for college. I want everyone to know you’re mine and that I have the perfect little trophy wife.” He admits, rubbing his growing erection against my ass.

“Sounds like a plan, my love.” I say as bile rises in my throat. He takes a deep breath letting me go just to grab my hand, leading me back inside towards the elevators.

“Let’s go see our room.” He says and I nod, following behind him. He presses the button and the doors swing open. He hits the P on the panel and away we go.

“There’s two rooms on this level, ours, and the room where the party will be held in.” He informs me with a smile and I nod.

“Do you know who is throwing this event tonight?” I ask, but he shakes his head.

“I wasn’t privy to that information. All I know is that there will be a few girls and you as the entertainment with specific instructions on the theme, your attire and makeup.” He says and I nod again.

“Alright.” I answer as the doors swing open. We step out and go to the left. He inserts the card into the reader, waiting for it to turn green, disengaging the lock. He opens the door, letting me in first.

I take in the enormous space. There’s a kitchen with an island, a living room area, dining room and a bedroom on opposite ends. But what catches my eye are the floor to ceiling glass windows that open to a balcony overlooking the beach. It’s the only thing I like about this whole place. The beach, listening to the waves crash, the smell of the salty ocean.

“Everything you need for tonight is in the bedroom. That’s where you will get ready. I won’t be attending the event. I have a few business meetings downstairs at the bar. Once you're finished with the event, you will be showered and waiting for me in the other room.” He says and I nod.

“Yes, Jacob. I’ll be waiting.” I say as he steps into my space, cupping my face.

“You’re perfect and such a good girl. Good girls get rewarded, don’t they?” He says and I want to hurl, but instead I smile.

“I’m your good girl.” I say seductively to send my point home.

“That’s right baby, say it again.” He growls.

“I’m your good girl.” I breathe as he captures my lips, rolling his tongue against mine. I force a moan, praying this doesn't lead to sex because I just cannot with him right now. Thankfully, he takes a step back, adjusting himself.

“Go shower. The party starts in three hours.” He says and I nod, walking to the bedroom and shutting the door behind me. I take a deep breath, shutting my eyes for a moment.

“You can do this, Presley. Keep your eyes on the prize.” I tell myself. Looking over at the closet, I see a garment bag. I go over and unzip it. Gasping at the contents inside, I run my fingers over the chains and leather straps. I’ve got to admit, this is hot as fuck, I just wish I was wearing this for someone I actually like and care for. Sighing, I zip it back up and head for the shower.

I need to mentally prepare myself for the evening and take my pills to numb everything. I can’t help but wish I was here with someone else, or better yet, a couple of somebodies.

Why do my thoughts always lead back to them? All five of the Cyprus brothers.

Chapter 12

Caspian

The lights are dim as the bass pumps through the speakers. The drinks are flowing and the drugs are very much in use. I pop a few pills myself and take a shot of Fireball, sitting back in my chair.
