Irish Coffee
Sammy couldn’t help but dissolve into laughter.
“What is so funny?” Sweat dripped down Beau’s temple.
“I can’t believe we’re doing this. Acting like a bunch of teenagers.”
“Who cares? Come on. Little Beau is aching for you.” Beau looked down at his hard rod and then looked up at his woman and winked.
Sammy threw her head back and cackled again. Beau jumped at the chance to kiss her exposed neck. Sammy jumped at his touch and whispered in his ear as he rubbed his lips and his tongue all over her neck. “You’re crazy,” she said in a breathy tone. “What if we get caught?”
Beau stopped kissing her for only a second. “We’re cops. They’ll get over it.” His lips met hers and he gave her a deep, passionate kiss. “You’ve already taken your pants off. Come on.”
Sammy smiled and pulled the material covering her wet slit to the side. She sat on his member and moaned as he slipped deep inside of her. “Okay, you’ve got me. Now, make it quick. I’ve got to get to wo—.”
Beau cut her off. “Sshhh Little Lady.” He placed his finger on her lips. Sammy opened her mouth and began sucking on his finger.
Beau moved his hand down her body and then grabbed her hips on either side and began lifting her and putting her back down, pumping himself in and out of her tight little body. She wrapped her arms around his neck and bit her bottom lip to keep herself from screaming out in pleasure.
Three minutes later, Beau and Sammy were walking toward the parking garage elevator. They stepped on and Sammy checked in the reflective walls to make sure she didn’t have sex hair or cum on her butt. Beau smiled at her and smoothed out the wrinkles of his pants.
“You look great Sammy.”
“Why thank you good sir.” Sammy tried her best to imitate Beau’s Southern accent.
“You’re a mess.” He shook his head. “Anything new in the missing Jane Doe case?”
“Not really. I’m trying to find at least one of the old neighbors to get a description of the family. I’ve got a family member of the old woman that came forward initially, but they’re out of the country right now.” Sammy and Beau stepped off the elevator and walked into the detective bay.
“Fingers crossed, huh?” Beau took off his suit jacket and hung it over the back of his chair.
“Yeah. Fingers crossed.” Sammy raised her eyebrows and put her purse in her desk drawer.
“Coffee?” Beau asked as he stepped into the hall to go to the break room.
“Yeah!” Sammy hollered after him.
“Got it!” he yelled back.
Sammy’s raised eyebrows quickly furrowed as she noticed a manila envelope lying across her keyboard. The front of the envelope had a typed address sticker on it. It was addressed to her and had her work address on it. No return address. Sammy picked up the envelope and slowly opened it. She pulled out a single sheet of paper.
There is a house in the woods. Far, far in the woods.
Surrounded by trees. The trees are all you can see.
Beneath the earth lie green eyes. Emerald eyes that look like mine.
I am somewhere here too. If you find me, there will be two.
In the house you will find secrets that have been looked at before.
In the house you will discover there is so much more.
Sammy was still staring at the paper when Beau returned with two cups of coffee. “I put yours in your favorite BB Easton mug.” He went to hand her the coffee and then noticed Sammy was as white as the paper she was holding in her hand.
“What is it Sam?” He put both of the coffee mugs down on her desk.
She shoved the paper at him, grabbed the envelope and practically ran out of the room. When she returned Beau had just finished reading the typed note.
