Just some information about the building and its ownership.

Ethan Drake:

Maybe you’re not asking the right questions.

I stare at the latest message, unsure what to make of it.

Lark Carter:

Maybe.

Another message.

Ethan Drake:

Or maybe you’re asking the wrong people. I doubt Infinity Properties can help you.

I furrow my brows, feeling a surge of frustration. Is he trying to intimidate me? Or is he just messing with me for his own amusement? Either way, I can’t let him distract me from my task.

Ignoring Ethan’s last message, I continue my search, determined to uncover the truth about my mysterious stalker and the unsettling events unfolding around me.

Suddenly, another message pops up on my screen.

Claire Hunter:

Hey, Lark. Everything okay?

I quickly type out a response, not wanting to raise any suspicion. But before I can hit send, another message appears, this time from Ethan.

Ethan Drake:Don’t forget, we have that meeting in ten minutes.

I nod to myself, acknowledging the reminder, and quickly finish up my research before closing the tabs on my computer. As I gather my things and head towards Ethan’s office, I can’t shake the feeling that he’s watching my every move, waiting to see what I’ll do next.

I try hard not to laugh as I remote-access Lark’s laptop. She’s never going to find confirmation of the answer she’s looking for. Sure, some of my family’s companies are linked, but that only makes it all the more interesting. When will my Little Bird realize I’m the one she needs to come to for answers? I hope it’s soon because I can’t wait to tell her everything.

Watching her this morning, I could barely believe my luck when she said “this is for you” and put the necklace on. She’s coming around to my presence in her life, no longer trying to outrun me. Such a good Little Bird.

I can barely pay attention to what Claire’s saying, all my thoughts are about Lark, and my primal need to claim her as mine. It’s intoxicating. My cock hardens, a visceral response to her submitting to me.

Despite the control and composure that I’ve carefully crafted over the years, I struggle to maintain the facade when Lark is near. Beneath the surface, there’s a darker undercurrent, a gnawing hunger that threatens to consume me whole. It’s the part of me that longs to possess her completely, to dominate her in every way imaginable.

Soon, Lark. Very soon you’ll be all mine.

I know I should be patient, to wait for the right moment to reveal my true intentions to her. But the waiting is torture, a constant battle against the darker impulses that lurk within me, threatening to break free at any moment.

Yet even as I struggle, a part of me relishes in the anticipation, the thrill of the chase. For now, I’ll continue to watch and wait, biding my time until the moment is right. And when it comes, I’ll finally be able to unleash the full extent of my obsession upon her, claiming her as mine in every sense of the word.

That doesn’t mean I’ll stop my nightly visit, far from it. If one orgasm gets her to wear my gift, I can’t wait to see what two or three gets me.

TheendofLark’ssecond week approaches, but instead of taking her out for a drink to celebrate, I’m at Infinity Care, a private care facility owned by my family that we moved her dad to. Last week, I pulled some strings and called in a personal favor to bring in Abel, the family’s top doctor, to examine Lark’s dad. In just a matter of days, Abel did what no one else had been able to do so far. He delivered the diagnosis of Lark’s dad; Alzheimer’s disease.

As the weight of Abel’s diagnosis settles heavily on my shoulders, I find myself growing increasingly frustrated by the limitations of modern medicine. Abel’s explanation of Lark’s dad’s condition only serves to fuel my anger.
