"She didn't eat much, but she told us a hilarious story about your pup stealing her panties this morning. Sounds like you both have your hands full with that one."

He grinned. "We do, but after she matures a bit, she's going to be wonderful. We start puppy-training classes next week."

Jace shook his head. "That is not for me."

Mason chuckled. "There are days it isn't for me either, but I've fallen hard for that little shit."

Jace stood. "That's why God makes them cute. Sucker!"

Chuckling he took a deep breath. "I think I need to hose off again, moving all the flowers sweated me up."

"Yeah, I've been sweating in the kitchen helping Marco get today's meal prepped. Let me show you what Margo and I have added to the back room."

He followed Jace out of the office and around the corner. Jace unlocked a door and flipped on a light. "We added this a few weeks ago. I get so sweated up sometimes, and if I have to serve or tend bar, I don't want to smell. Now, I can come back here and hose off."

Mason stepped into a small but nice bathroom. The tile floor looked like wood, and the shower was made of glass and ceramic tiles. The sink and toilet gleamed. "It's fantastic."

"Well, Margo likes the best of everything, but she's also a fantastic negotiator. It didn't cost us what it would have otherwise. So, I let her do her thing. Anyway, jump in the shower, there's a soap dispenser in the corner. When you're finished, I'll take mine…again."

Wasn't that perfect? Mason hurried through his second shower of the day and dressed in his suit. He exited the bathroom and took the elevator upstairs to see how the decorating was coming along. A quick glance at his watch, and he counted down the minutes. Only ninety to go.
