It hit me like a punch to the chest. This woman was simply existing in my world, and she had the power to bring me to my knees. She didn’t even know how much she had me wrapped around her fingers. It was Blair’s world, and I was just the nigga making sure she always remained protected in it.

Capone, Cappadonna, Corleon, and Capella all stayed back at the villa, while me and Blaze decided to come. I had plans to stay back, too, but Anjo forced me to come. Claimed she needed me to take pictures with her phone, too.

As if she didn’t have about four other women that could have taken her picture. I took it as her wanting to spend time with me, so I came out with them. Blaze was coming, because he swore he was a photographer, and he needed to get the perfect angle for his wife, and this portrait that was going into the new house.

He had his own camera and was messing with the settings. “Why is this picture so important to you?”

I watched as he continued to mess with the buttons. “I’ve taken plenty of pictures of her, this one just hits different for so many reasons. She’s celebrating another birthday, her first one as a mother and a wife. Sim, she’s grown so fucking much, her strength, and everything… I wanna be the one to capture her how I see her.”

“Damn, Blaze… you getting all misty eyed and shit.”

He chuckled. “I love the shit out that woman… never thought I would experience a love like that. Gams kept telling me that she would be my wife, even before meeting her.”

“I knew she would be when you asked for permission to date her. You don’t ask nobody for shit, so I knew she meant a lot to you.”

“Meer, did you fix the camera?” Capri came back over, not knowing that her husband was moved to tears because of how he felt about her.

“Yeah, Sug… Camera is all ready,” he kissed her cheek.

While he kissed her, she turned to look at me. “My girl look like she was bit by spiders or something.”

“She’s allergic to something.”

“Bullshit… you two… I’m gonna mind my business. However, I like what’s going on between you two…again.”

I don’t know how me and Blaze got put on picture duty along with the man who ran the swing. When Blair put on the red dress and got on the swing, I was speechless. I wasn’t the only one, because the people in the line clapped and called her beautiful.

She was so beautiful.

I was so turned on watching her because she was staring directly into my eyes the entire shoot. I took as many pictures as I could focus on, because the focus was on her.

Myfocus was on her.

Blair was the first one to take pictures while the rest of the women stood back and waited. Alaia and Erin were looking over the dress options that they had inside the little shop.

When they pushed the swing, the train of the dress flew in the air, as she tossed her head back and laughed. I could tell that her laugh came from the soul, as the swing went all the way back. She made a silly cross-eyed look while sticking her tongue out that caused me to laugh as I took the picture.

As the swing went back and forth, she looked so carefree and at peace. I knew that hadn’t always been the case when it came to her and life.

Blair had this light about her that couldn’t be put out. Even in the midst of her own storm, she found a way to be there for those that she loved. Her heart was so pure, and you didn’t find a lot of women with a heart like hers.

Then it was that red on her.

It was my favorite color on her, and she knew that shit. I took every piece of her in as she was in her element. The women all hyped her up, as she tapped into her Tyra Banks shit, smiling with her eyes and shit. The photographer got her from all angles, as she kicked her feet out and looked over at me.

This was my wife.

I kissed my two fingers and winked at her while she blushed and continued to take her pictures. While she was taking her pictures, I went over to the photographer’s stand, and paid for all the pictures of her, and the videos.

“You want it all?” He asked if I was sure.

“I want all of her pictures and videos, but I’m paying for all the other women’s pictures and videos, too.” I hadn’t had the chance to exchange my money, so I pulled out five hundred dollars, which was way more than this shit costs, but I didn’t mind giving him a tip, because they went above and beyond for these pictures.

As I finished up with homie, I watched as Blair shot across to quickly change out of the dress, then she came back toward me. “How did I do?”

“You looked beautiful, Anjo.” I whispered into her ear, kissing her neck in the process. “Come here real quick,” I pulled her hand, and walked back toward the sprinter van we arrived in.

“What happened?” She asked, confused, as I slid the door open for her, and helped her climb up into the van. We were parked near the entrance. The van’s windows were tinted out, and you couldn’t see the front of the van from the back, because there was a TV on the divider that separated the front from the back.
