Page 135 of Nest Of Lies

She puts her hands on her hips and glares at me.

“Zaden Mirakill, where is my Beezie?”

Not even a question. No, it’s a demand, like she’s a queen. Which she is, my queen.

I bite the inside of my cheek and scratch Harley. The big black and white monstrosity lets out a deep, rumbling purr. That is how he got his name. A long line of saliva drips onto my desk. I pick up the cat and set him on the floor, watching as he runs out of the office.

I lift my eyes to my irate omega and grin.

“What are you looking for again?”

“Where is my Beezie!” she shouts. “What have you done with him?”

I stand up and walk around the desk. She backs up, but I reach out, snagging the back of her neck.

“Are you yelling at me, Lia?”

“Yes!” she shouts.

“Because you want your Beezie?”

Her eyes get unfocused, and she leans into the deep, massaging touch. My fingers press into her neck.

“Yes, I-” she shudders. “Zaden, please.”

I pull my hand away reluctantly and turn her to face my window. Her eyes open wide.

There are now six Beezie's, each a different style. One has a small leather vest, another is carrying a spanner, a third has red hair, the fourth is snarling, and the last one has a chef’s hat.

“Beezie had babies,” Lia whispers.

I roll my eyes and lean my hip on my desk while she investigates.

She comes back soon, unable to stay away.

I don’t move while she lifts her arms to undo my shirt buttons.

“Lia?”

“Yes?”

“I think I want you to drop your jeans and bend over this desk.”

She shudders.

“But why?”

She glances at the bears.

“I will give you whatever I need to give you until you know we’re not going anywhere. And if you need Beezie’s, I will get you an army of them.”

Her cheeks turn red.

“I was talking in my sleep again?”

“You were calling for us not to leave you,” I growl and yank her jeans down. I push her down onto the desk and slide into her in one hard thrust. “But I’m never going to leave you.”

The office door opens, and the pack file in, closing and locking the door behind them.
