“That’s right, baby,” he whispers. He pulls his cock out, and a second later he’s driving into me. He adjusts us so he’s holding on under my thighs, and he bounces me up and down as he thrusts into me. Holy fuck, it takes an athletic man to do what he’s doing, but he’s doing it incredibly.
I can’t take it.
Between the feel of him, the sweet sensation of him rocking into me, the emotions coursing between us, and God, even the smell of him, I lose all control. My body spasms under his touch, like it was made to be handled by him and him alone.
I come with force as I jerk and twist over him, but he holds tight onto me before he explodes into his own orgasm with a mighty roar.
“Shh,” I remind him lazily as I come down from my high, my mouth close to his ear since I’ve gone limp in his arms. I feel like a noodle, or jelly, or some sort of jelly noodle.
How the hell am I supposed to just get dressed and head back to work like he didn’t just give me the most blissful few minutes of my entire life?
He chuckles as he gently sets me on the exam table, and I feel like I could curl up in a ball and take a nap. Instead, I sort of slump against the wall wishing I could just get a few minutes of sleep.
But I can’t. Because I’m here working.
He cleans himself up and tucks the pleasure stick back into his shorts. “Does that get better every time?” he asks as his brows knit together. He reaches over and hands me my bra.
I sit up and nod as I start to pull it on. “Seems impossible, but yes, I really think it does.”
He hands me my shirt next, and he covers up his glorious body with his own shirt to my dismay.
I force myself off the table to grab the rest of my clothes.
As has become our routine, Cooper opens the door first to make sure the coast is clear once we’re dressed.
“Joanie,” he says loudly as soon as he walks out of the room.
Shit.
I slink back into the room, moving into the shadows as much as I can.
“Where’s Gabby?” she asks.
“How should I know?”
“Because I sent her off with you to check on the StrongFitKids progress over a half hour ago and nobody up there saw you. What were you doing in the training room?” she demands. She’s onto us, I just know it. I can hear the suspicion in her voice.
“I was, uh…taping my finger.”
“There’s no tape on your finger, Cooper,” she says sternly.
“No, Joanie! Don’t go in—” his voice trails off as the door opens and Joanie stands there staring back at me. “—there.”
I wave a little sheepishly. “Hi.”
“What are you doing?” she asks. She takes a step toward me, and she smooths my hair down on one side.
I clear my throat, but I can’t seem to find the words.
“She was getting tape for my finger,” Cooper says, inflecting it at the end like a question.
God, he’s a bad liar.
“Are you two…” Joanie asks, looking between the two of us.
I blow out a breath, and when I look at Cooper, I can’t help but think it’s all going to be okay. He gives me a warning look, but I can’t keep lying to her—not when I’ve started to feel a closer connection to her. Maybe she’ll have some insight on how to break this to my dad, anyway. She seems to know him pretty well given the fact that she’s wearing his pear-shaped engagement ring on her finger.
“Yes,” I finally say softly. “We are.”
