“Yeah, yeah. Laugh it up, Officer G.I. Joe.”

He turns and shoots me an evil glare, then tickles my side. “First of all. G.I. Joe was Army. Don’t confuse the two.”

“Yes, Sir,” I mock, trying my best to keep a straight face.

“Good girl.” He smacks my ass.

Fanning my face dramatically, I sigh. “Oh. Holy shit. That was so hot. Say that again.”

This time Logan rolls his eyes. “For fuck sake. I’ve got one more idea before we go if you think you’re up to it. Then, I’ll take you to dinner.” His smug smile tells me he’s challenging me.

“I can handle anything you throw my way,” I tell him confidently.

“Good girl,” he says again with a wink this time before he pulls me closer and pecks my lips. Then we’re off to the trampoline park inside the venue.

“You’re serious right now?” I feel like a little kid again. And I’m probably far too old for this, but something tells me this will be worth every ounce of sore muscles I’m bound to have tomorrow.

Logan responds by sitting down on the bench and pulling off his sneakers, tucking them in the small footlocker behind him. “You said you could handle it.” We’re getting ready to step inside when he reaches for my hand and stops me to plant a simple kiss on my lips. “Let’s do this.”

I’m so glad the place is relatively empty since most of the people who would be here are probably in school right now. Otherwise, I might be slightly embarrassed by my behavior.

Logan is chasing me all over the trampoline area, more like bouncing after me. He nearly reaches me, and I squeal. Giving up, he takes off in the other direction to attempt a front flip. I practically fall over in hysterics when his execution is a little off, and he face plants instead.

“Laugh it up,” he calls out as he stands and runs at me again.

This time I’m too distracted, and he catches me, knocking us both off balance and sending us bouncing in the air when we collapse.

He hovers over me, his lips mere inches from mine. Unable to resist, I meet him halfway with a lip lock. This time I can feel every inch of his hard body pressed against mine, and there is no denying the effect I have on him.

Logan lets go of me and rolls over, clearing his throat and catching his breath. “I think that’s enough excitement for one day.”

Seeing an opportunity, I jump and skip to the zip line. “The last one down the zip line loses.”

Logan

Twenty minutes later, we zipped into a pit of foam blocks, I’ve got the worst case of blue balls, and my stomach is growling as I back out of the parking spot at Fun Station.

“You’ve never been to Whataburger?”

“Nope. Never have.” Rachel confesses.

“But you like burgers?”

“I like any kind of meat.”

I swallow hard and pause for a minute, processing what she said. “Moving on. That changes today. You still have time for a quick meal?”

She looks at her watch and nods. “I could eat.”

Somehow, we get lucky when I pull up at Whataburger, and we’re able to get in and order our food, and then we find a place to sit without too much of a hassle.

Between the graphic images flying through my head from watching Rachel bounce around on the trampoline and the double innuendoes we’ve been throwing at each other the whole time, it’s taking a whole lot of restraint to get through our meal.

“Okay, wait. I have a question.” Rachel dips her fry in ketchup and takes a bite. Once she’s done chewing, she goes on. “You said you had a brother, right?”

“A younger brother, yes.”
