I’m looking into the eyes of one of my closest friends, and it gives me the courage to respond back.

“I love you, too.”

Sleep comes and goes.

I lose track of time completely.

In my more lucid moments, I can’t believe I’m experiencing my Heat on a yacht.

But when the fever takes over and I become a whimpering, needy mess, all I can focus on are the mating bonds between my Alphas.

Hunter and Donovan are in my bloodstream, and instead of it being overwhelming, there’s the innate feeling that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

I told Skylar I wouldn’t come back to Isleton with mating bites.

Looks like I was a liar.

When I’m not sleeping, I’m being tended to in more ways than one.

Hunter and Donovan feed me, wash me, and make sure I stay hydrated.

They treat me like a princess, and I keep a lazy, content smile on my face the whole time.

But when the arousal becomes too much and I need to be filled, one of them will take over and keep me seated on their cock, fucking into me until my inner Omega is satisfied.

They keep my nest full of clean, warm blankets and make sure I’m always comfortable.

But there’s one Alpha I’m missing, one that hasn’t made an appearance since the beginning of my Heat.

Liam.

I can scent him, though. His mint and eucalyptus scents are still as strong as ever, but I haven’tseenhim.

“He’s been here,” Donovan says softly in one of my more lucid moments. He sits with me on the edge of the bed, fully dressed and purring as I lean my head on his shoulder. “He’s been here when you’ve been sleeping.”

I swallow. “Why? Is he?—”

“He’s nervous,” he finishes. “At least, that’s as much as he will tell me.”

My emotions are haywire, and tears fill my eyes in sympathy. “I need him,” I whisper. “I…I miss him.”

“I know you do.” Donovan presses a kiss to my hair. “I can sense it in you.”

I have maybe a handful of minutes before I lose control and become a desperate Omega again, and I want Liam to be there when it happens.

As if on cue, there’s a knock on the cracked door. Donovan stands and opens it, letting Liam inside.

“Take care of her,” he says curtly, before leaving us.

Liam nods, his gaze falling to me. He’s dressed in a grey sweater and dark jeans, and he walks over to me slowly, a soft smile on his face.

“Hi, beautiful,” he says, and my core clenches. I’m naked, wrapped only in a thick, plush comforter.

“Alpha,” I groan, my mouth watering. “Please, don’t make me wait.”

That seems to alleviate whatever nerves were in him, because he walks to the foot of the bed and caresses my cheek. “You’ll never have to wait again,” he says softly. “I’m sorry I made you wait this long. I just…I wanted to be sure that you wanted me as your mate.”

“Liam,” I groan, pushing the comforter off me. His pupils dilate, and a low growl sounds in his throat as he takes in my naked body. “I…I need…”
