“Stella,” he groans, his voice tinged with desperation, “you feel so fucking good.”

“Please... don’t stop,” I plead, my voice breaking as I fight to keep my composure. My thoughts are scattered, consumed by the pleasure radiating through my body. I’ve never felt more alive, more connected to another person than I do right now with Elio.

“God, you’re amazing,” he tells me, his breath hot against my ear. It’s a simple phrase, but coming from him, it feels like the highest compliment.

The heat of Elio’s body melds with mine, his rough hands gripping my hips tightly as he thrusts into me. Our skin slaps together in a primal rhythm that echoes through the room, mingling with our moans and gasps.

“Stella,” he growls, his voice low and commanding. “You’re mine.”

I can’t help but respond, desire coursing through me like wildfire. “Yes, Elio,” I pant, “yours.”

His movements become more deliberate, each thrust bringing my body closer to its release.

And then I’m coming.Hard.

My body trembles, every nerve alive and tingling with the electricity that courses through me. Elio’s grip on my hips tightens, his movements quickening as he chases his release.

“Please, Elio,” I whimper, my body desperate for the release that edges closer with each powerful thrust. “I need it...I can’t take much more.”

“Patience, Stella,” he commands, his tone firm yet tender. “We’re not done yet. I tell your body what it can take.”

As if to emphasize his point, he reaches around to tease my clit, eliciting a sharp gasp from me.

STELLA

My heart races as I watch Elio hastily put his clothes back on. The lingering warmth and euphoria from our encounter still courses through my veins, but confusion clouds my thoughts. What’s going on? He’s never gotten dressed so quickly after we’ve had sex. I’ve gotten used to us cuddling.

“Wait,” I stammer, propping myself up on one elbow. “What are you doing?”

Looking at me with a fury that sends chills down my spine, Elio snaps, “That was my way of saying goodbye, Stella.”

“Goodbye?” My voice trembles, and the sudden chill in the room seeps into my bones. “I don’t understand.”

“Of course you don’t,” he sneers, pulling on his jacket. “I won’t be played by any woman. Did you screw that man I saw you with earlier at the restaurant? It’s funny how you didn’t want to go to a nice restuarant with me, but you had no problem going with him. What, were you afraid your little boyfriend would see us…that he would find out you have a mistress?”

The accusation stings like a slap to the face. How could he think that? My chest tightens, and it feels like the air has been stolen from my lungs. But I can’t let him walk away without setting the record straight.

“Paul isn’t my boyfriend,” I retort, my voice filled with a mix of hurt and anger. “You have no idea what you’re talking about!”

Elio scoffs, but there’s a flicker of doubt in his eyes. He doesn’t believe me. “Then tell me.”

And I’d been trying to keep Elio from seeing Paul!

“He’s my best friend’s brother. When I was sexting you, I thought he was the one I was talking to.”

I can’t tell if the truth makes the situation worse or not. “I get it. He’s the one you want.”

Elio tries to walk towards the door, but I’m quick to jump out of the bed and grab his arm, pulling him back. “You’re the one I want.”

“Then why go on a date with him?”

“I didn’t tell my best friend the truth about me and you. He’s covering for me, so I owed him one.”

Elio stares at me for a moment, his expression inscrutable. “Why not just tell your best friend the truth.”

I swallow. “She was so excited about me and her brother…Besides, what would I have told her? That I was dating someone else? I don’t even know what we are.”
