“Seven, I still need you to check the cameras to see if the judge is home. Scar is going to have Liam find out the judge’s schedule. Not that I don’t trust Liam, but I’d like you to verify it.”
“Will do,” Seven told her.
“Skye, I need two duffle bags for me and Scar.”
“Do you need specific items or the usual? And do you want a kidnapping duffle, a kill on sight duffle, or a torture duffle?” Skye asked.
Exa didn’t really know. She and Scar hadn’t made a plan yet.
“Prepare two of each.”
“You don’t have a plan, do you?” Skye questioned.
“Just do it.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
“Get to it, ladies,” Exa told the twins. “Arson, you stay behind. I want to discuss something with you.” The twins looked from Exa to Arson. “Go,” Exa told them.
Reluctant to leave the room, the twins rose from their seats slowly. Their nosy asses took their time walking to the door. After they left the room, Exa strode over and sat down in the seat next to Arson.
“I didn’t do it,” Arson rushed to say.
“You didn’t do what?”
Arson looked a bit nervous when she said, “Whatever it is you think I did, I didn’t do it.”
Seriously though, what had her team been doing while she was locked up in her personal little paradise with Scar? All of them were guilty of something. If she had time, she’d investigate them all. Unfortunately, time was not on her side at the moment. She had no idea what Arson was hiding. However, she was pretty sure she knew who it involved.
“Arson, did you do something to Julien?”
“Julien who?” Arson asked.
“Bitch, what did you do?”
