She runs over to me when she spots me at the far table.

“Celso, it was amazing. The simulation is like being in a real helicopter. I was wearing VR Goggles. Ionly crashed a few times. I mean that’s not bad. Take off isn’t as easy as you’d think it would be. And then the one time I got it going, and I was flying over the mountain tops and it was so beautiful.”

She sits down, letting out a heavy breath of air.

I can’t stop grinning at her.

“I’m going to have some lunch, after that they are taking us flying - proper, real flying.”

“That smile on your face - that’s the smile I want to give you for the rest of your life.” I say, pulling her chair closer to mine.

She leans her head onto my shoulder, and I wrap my arm around her, kissing the top of her head.

After steak rolls and caramel cake we are on our way towards the Hawk chopper for the next step in our adventure.

Neve doesn’t know it yet, but after a flight over the mountains we are getting dropped on top of the highest peak where they have a very exclusive, private house you can rent.

I’ve booked it for us for tonight. I’ve had them prepare dinner for us and stock the bar withchampagne. A suitcase of our luggage was already taken from the trunk of my car where I packed it this morning while Neve was still sleeping - it’s packed in the helicopter and will be dropped off with us.

The house we are staying in is made of glass, every wall is a view of the mountain ranges and wide open skies. There is a hot tub, a natural waterfall running straight through the side of the house, a fire place indoors, a bed that is built onto the side of the mountain so that you sleep on a cliff face, warm and safe in the glass walls - it’s beyond incredible.

I can’t wait to see her face when she sees that.

The helicopter ride is magnificent. We circle over the mountains and race through valleys while Neve squeals with excitement at the pilots skills. At the end of our flight she leans close to the window and points out the beautiful house on the mountain top and wonders who gets to live in a such a magical place.

“Tonight - we do.” I grin as the helicopter begins to descend. Headed for the landing pad carves into the mountain.

“Are youserious?”she asks in shock.

I nod.

She presses her face against the window again and stares in awe at our romantic getaway venue.

The pilot waves once we are out and standing on the platform. Wind whips her hair in a swirling, wild splash as he takes off again.

I hold her close.

Once we’re completely and utterly alone, far away from everyone and everything, I lead her into the glass house.

She grabs my hand and explores every room and every corner, admiring the views from each point. Once we’ve seen the entire house we decide to soak in the hot tub and have champagne while we observe our mountain as though we are kings and queens.

The water is hot and a gently drift of steams swirls over the surface as Neve floats towards me, her cheeks bright red from the heat and the champagne and all the excitement of today.

I reach out and pull her onto my lap. She floats over me, wrapping her things on either side of mine and she brushes her warm fingers over my cheeks, down my neck and wrapping them around the back of my shoulders.

“Today was - it was the best day of my life I think.” She grins, leaning close, her lips brushing over mine.

“Marrying you was the best day of my life, Neve. It was the day my dream came true. The day I made you mine.” My cock hardens beneath her and she presses herself a little firmer onto my lap.

“Marrying you was - unexpected - for my heart.”

“What do you mean by that?” I ask, a surge of excitement running through me.

“It means, I—” She bites her lip. I can see the nervous glimmer in her eyes.

“Neve?” I ask, pushing my finger underneath her chin and forcing her to look at me.

“It means that I didn’t expect my heart to fall so madly in love with you.” She whispers, the confession on her lips is like a volcano erupting inside my heart.
