I nod. I want to do that with her. I’m still nervous about how it’s going to go, and I don’t want her to be uncomfortable in any way, but now that she knows, it’s going to be impossible to resist the urge.
And I’m going to be thinking about it for the rest of our meal.
CHAPTER 16
Nati
I should benervous being in one of the secret rooms with Meic after our conversation in the pub, but that’s definitely not how I’m feeling at all.
I’m excited. I don’t really know what to expect from the knot, but I’m intrigued and I know he wouldn’t do anything to hurt me.
Meic reaches out and pulls me to him. I reach up to touch his cheek, smiling up at him and feeling everything in my body start to respond to his.
He leans in and brushes his lips against mine tenderly. There’s an undercurrent of desire that there’s no way I can ignore, but there’s more than that too. Not that I doubted it.
I break away from him and pull him over to where the blankets and cushions are waiting for us. It’s a good thing we thought to set upbeforewe went for our date because I don’t think I’d want to have to do it now.
He sits down and pulls me to him, kissing me again while I let my hands roam over his chest. I toy with the buttons of hisshirt, popping each of them out in turn and pushing it over his shoulders and down to the ground. He helps with my dress, and soon all of our clothes are thrown away to the floor.
He grazes his lips against my throat, and I let out a small cry, not putting up a single protest as he moves down my body, paying attention to the spots he’s learned I’m most sensitive.
I part my legs before he’s even there and he settles between them, looking up with a mischievous expression on his face, like he’s going to do everything he can to drive me over the edge.
And I welcome it.
The moment his tongue touches me, all thoughts flee, and I find myself reaching down, holding one of his horns as he sends me closer to the edge.
He finds a particularly sensitive spot and I let out a gasp, closing my legs around his head. But he just takes it as the encouragement it actually is, and I grow closer and closer to the edge.
A loud groan rips from my throat as my whole body begins to shake and any remaining thought erases itself from my mind.
I collapse back onto the cushions, breathing heavily.
Meic appears beside me with a large grin on his face. “I love seeing you like this.”
I give a lazy laugh. “I know.” I reach up to check my turban is still in place, having gotten used to wearing it a bit more around him now.
I shift over onto my side and reach out to touch his chest, smoothing my hand over his skin and enjoying the contrast between my pale shade, and his darker skin. His breathing is already ragged, probably because he knows exactly what’s on my mind. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since he told me in the pub.
Slowly, I reach out to take his hard length in my hand. Even though it’s far from the first time I’ve touched him likethis, something about the gesture feels new. Like I’m exploring something I haven’t before. Which I suppose is kind of true.
My fingers find the knot and I trace them along it, feeling Meic swell and grow beneath my touch.
He groans, his eyes closing and a pained expression on his face.
“Tell me more about it,” I murmur, both curious and wanting to know what to expect.
“There’s no going back once I’m inside you.” His voice is gravelly when he says it.
“I know, you told me in the pub. What exactly does that mean?”
He clears his throat. “I’m guessing this is your first time?”
“Sleeping with someone who has a knot? Yeah, this is a first.” And it should scare me a lot more than it does. But instead of being scared, I feel a new depth of desire that I don’t think I’ve ever felt before.
“We don’t have to...”
“I know we don’thaveto do anything. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to. Or that I’m not curious.” I trail my hand down. “How does it work?” I continue moving my hand, not fast enough that I’ll risk him finding his release, but enough that he knows what I’m doing.
