“Made. For. Me.” He growled the words as he fucked her with his tongue.

Was she? It felt so good. But he’d strapped her down, wanted nothing more than her capitulation and defeat.

“T-this is wrong.”

“No. Right.” He slung her legs over his shoulders, her back arching as he seized her hips. “My prize.” His hands slid down the outside of her thighs, circled her knees, the rough caresses sending shivers straight to her core. Making her tremble. Making the need inside her burn hotter. “My prey.” Then hishands were gliding up the inside of her legs, parting her further, his big hands kneading her ass as he titled her hips higher, positioning her as he liked, leaving no part of her untouched. “Mine forever.”

He sank his fangs into her inner thigh.

She screamed. Convulsed. Unfathomable, exquisite pleasure stabbed through every cell, her body and soul remade as his claim penetrated not just her skin, but her essence.

He sucked harder.

She keened, gripping the binds as torrid pleasure ripped through her—and, along with it, more power than she had ever thought possible.

The mind-blowing sensation tore through every cell and sinew, making her tremble and pant and cry out. Exquisite tendrils of feeling that snaked from him to her, creating a glowing conduit that coiled between them, growing thicker and stronger, marking her forever more, just like the dark, searing binds at her wrists and throat.

She was his. And he was hers.

Bound together. Alpha and omega. Beginning and end.

Shattered. Reborn.

And together they could do so much more than either had ever imagined.

Her body bucked as her mind soared and he sealed the puncture wounds with his salvia, her only anchor the weight of his hands and the ties at her wrists. If not for him, she thought she might break completely apart and float away.

And then, suddenly, he clamped his mouth around her core once more and even he was not enough to keep her down as another climax hit. The binds snapped and she rocketed upwards.

Too fast for even her captor’s blurred hand to hold on tight enough to grab her.

Her body was still experiencing delicious aftershocks as his enraged bellow echoed below and her mind sliced through the haze of heat and caught up with reality.

She was free from his vines and spiraling back toward the ceiling.

Her newfound abilities were not a one-time thing.

And while she might ache for his domination and commanding touches, even his strength and powerful will could not keep her down.

She could be more than just prey. She could be a worthy opponent even for a beserketh.

The realization shocked her, exploding a lifetime of lessons and fear.

She could be the first of her kind to go up against a beserketh and escape.

Though after the shocking pleasure she’d just experienced with him—the marks he’d left not just on her body, but her soul—would she truly ever be free of him again? And did she even want to be?

But those were worries for later.Ifthere was a later.

First, she had to figure out how to survive the rocky ceiling she was spiraling toward, without any idea how to stop.

Chapter 5

Not again.

Fury whipped through Cheim. Followed closely by another new sensation: an icy tingle at the back of his neck. One he did not like, but that scented a lot like the bitter stink of fear he often detected on his prey.

This was a reaction he elicited in others. Not one he felt in himself.
