“God, I don’t know how to describe it,” Eden said. “He’s the most masculine man I’ve ever met.”

Cain saw Eden look at the girls.

“You guys, Oh, God, is he one of the Dominants that come here?” Eden said and stiffened.

“He is,” Cat said and grinned.

Eden leaned forward and smacked her hand on the table. “Shut up.” The girls all laughed.

“Why the hell didn’t you guys say anything?” Eden asked.

Cain saw Eden stiffen when Cat looked over her shoulder and grinned.

“God, please don’t tell me he’s here.”

“Oh, he’s here,” Hanna said.

“Oh, God. You guys. I have to get out of here,” Eden practically screeched, making him smile.

“I think it’s too late,” Janessa said.

“No! Please tell me he’s not behind me,” Eden whispered frantically.

“Okay, we won’t,” Cat said and giggled.

Macy was right. Cat was having way too much fun with this, but he was also thankful to the girls because he had learned more about her feelings for him in the last few minutes.

Cain just about chuckled when Eden leaned forward, pressed her face into her hands, and repeated, “No, please, no.”

She lifted her head suddenly. “Oh my God, he didn’t hear anything I said, right?”

He saw her stiffen further when they just laughed.

“You suck as friends, you know that, right?” Eden hissed, making them laugh harder.

“That’s bullshit,” Cat said. “We’re the best friends you’ve ever had, and you know it.”

“Maybe, but right now you’re not,” Eden growled. “Is there a way I can escape without him noticing?”

Sara pointed at the main door behind Eden. “That’s it. It’s your only option.”

Of course, she didn’t turn. He knew she never would have made it.

When he felt she’d been tormented enough, he set his hand on her shoulder. She jumped but otherwise didn’t move.

“I’d like a word with my sub,” he said. “In private.”

He leaned forward, lifted Eden over the back of the sofa, and set her on her feet in front of him. He could tell she was embarrassed by the bright red color on her face.

“Are you going to look at me?” Cain said.

Eden shook her head.

Cain sighed, wrapped his hand around her upper arm, and waved to Macy. “Which room can I take?”

“Take the first one to the right. The one with black walls.”

“Got it. Thank you.”
