“Good morning,” we return.

Tech claps his hands together, leaning into the camera. “I spent most of the night doing surveillance on Santiago’s territory in Oak Cliff and about an hour ago, the snake showed his head.”

“Where?” I ask before anyone else can get it out.

“At a mini mansion surrounded by an electrical fence and guards. Hold on, I’m sending you the address,” he says as he starts typing. My cell dings letting me know I got the message. “He’s been there since then. Greg’s with him and so are the rest of the guards from Bermuda.”

Mike steps closer. “Tech, run a perimeter scan around the fence. Check to see if there are any weaknesses in it. I’m sure your egghead ass probably has found a way to disable it, I just want us to be able to get in without being electrocuted.”

Tech grins wide. “Already taken care of, Boss. I’ll be emailing those over shortly. Since the front is heavily lit by streetlights, going in that way is a no-go. The back is lit but there’s less movement from the guards, but he does have three pit bulls running around. I have something to take care of them in one of the boxes. Speaking of boxes, I’m guessing they arrived safely?”

“Yeah, we got them right here,” Zar informs as he motions for Hendrix to open them.

“Excellent. So, inside you will find full body suits. I was able to get your sizes from the ladies, so each of you have a suit labeled with your initials and correct sizes.”

I dig in the first box and pull out what appears to be a scuba diving suit. “Tech, my friend, we’re going to war, not deep sea diving.” He laughs with the others.

“I know what it looks like, but trust me, these are not deep sea diving suits. These suits are like full body armor. Nothing and I do mean nothing can penetrate them. Bullets, knives, or whatever someone comes at you with, they won’t be able to break through,” Tech excitedly states like jovial kid in candy land.

The rest of the guys pull out suits, but there are two remaining. We exchange them until we have the ones with our initials in our possession.

Zar holds up the suit, examining the material. “What’s it made out of?”

Tech chuckles. “That I can’t tell you. It’s very top secret and only a few people in the Pentagon know of its existence. Luckily, I’m friends with the guy who created the suits and he owed me a favor.”

“And you’re sure they are going to work?” I question, feeling the weird texture.

“Positive. I was there when they were tested,” Tech assures.

As I’m about to ask who were the other two suits for, there’s a knock at the door.

“Who the hell is that and how the hell did they get up here?” Zar growls, eyeing us. We look just as confused as he does. “Hendrix, see who it is.”

Hendrix pulls his gun before disappearing around the corner. “Who is it?” he shouts. We wait to hear who answers.

As seconds pass, we draw our own weapons, getting ready to storm the front door when there is no response. Just as we make our move, Hendrix rounds the corner with Yiorgos and Basil behind them.

“What the fuck are you doing here and who’s running Chicago?” Zar questions with irritation as we re-holster our guns.

“It’s good to see you too, cousin,” Yiorgos teases, laughing at Zar’s heated expression as he and Basil come further into the room, then shake our hands.

He then goes over to the open box and pulls out the last two suits. Yiorgos looks at the label of the first one, then tosses it to Basil. Well, now we know who the other suits were for.

Yiorgos throws his suit over his shoulder, then says, “Thanks for getting the correct sizes, Tech.”

Our eyes go to the monitor. Tech grins. “No problem”

“So, you knew they were coming and didn’t say anything?” Zar argues.

“Because I told him not to,” Sebastian says coming into view behind Tech, along with Yiannis. “I called for Yiorgos and Basil after we got off the phone last night, then called and instructed security downstairs to allow them access to the condos. If I would’ve told you they were coming, you would have fought me on it tooth and nail, but what you need to understand Grandson is, you may run Dallas, but I run this family and I don’t need anyone’s approval of my decisions. Understood?”

“Yes, Grandfather,” Zar agrees, bowing his head.

After Sebastian returns the gesture, Yiannis states, “Benito from Detroit and a few of his men will look after Chicago while Yiorgos and Basil are here, since they are familiar with our operations there. Jeeves will serve as his Second in Command until those two return.”

“Now, I’m going to say this to all of you,” Sebastian speaks, tapping Tech on his shoulder to get up. Tech quickly vacates the chair and offers Sebastian the seat. Once in it, Sebastian looks directly into the screen with a stern face. “My family will not be kept in hiding one day longer. This shit ends today! You represent the Kourakos family and we bow down to no man, they bow to us. Never forget that.”

“Yes, sir,” echoes around the room with pride.
