Zar slowly cuts his eyes at me, then smirks. “She’s just as crazy as you are.”
I give him a devious grin as Hailey returns to me.
“What the hell,” Xander blurts out as he and the others join us.
“Security,” Zar yells. Two quickly come to his side. “Get her up and take her to the dressing room. Make sure Vixen cleans out her locker. She no longer works here.”
They nod, and rush over to Vixen who is crying. They lift her up, carrying her off.
“Now that’s how you shut a bitch up,” Nina laughs, giving Janae a high five.
I look down at Hailey, then lift her chin. “Are you okay, Η καρδι? μου (my heart)? You know I would never do any of that bullshit she said?” I search her eyes, hoping she believes me.
A smile spreads across her beautiful face as she fixes my lapels. “I’m fine Alistair, and I know you wouldn’t, because if you did, as much as I love Frank, I’ll cut him off in your sleep.”
The crazed look in her eyes, has me believing she would too. Damn, I love her crazy ass.
“Come on,” I tell her, then lead her to the VIP section.
My Bachelor party turned into a co-ed party, as the ladies joined in the celebration. Although we were having a good time before they came, having them there only made it more eventful. We found out after the girls got back from the spa, they came up with the idea of surprising us at the club, and boy did they. At one point, Nina went over to the deejay booth to request a song. Prince’s song ‘If I Was Your Girlfriend’ came on as she seductively sauntered towards Zar, who lustfully gazed at her. When she reached him, Nina began to give him a lap dance. It was so hot and steamy that before the first verse was over, Zar picked her up, and rushed her to his office. Nina waved over his back as we cheered them on.
Hailey leaned over and whispered in my ear, “I’m going to need privacy for the type of lap dance I want to give you.” I growled, thinking of her private dance.
It was now closing time for the club. We’re all feeling pretty damn good. I can’t wait for the next time we all go out again. Zar and Nina have returned, both looking blissful.
“Party’s over,” Zar announces as the lights in the club brighten.
“How did you guys get here,” I ask Hailey as I help her stand.
“We rode with Janae. Nina and I figured we would ride back with you and Zar, that way Janae could go home when we leave,” she explained, as we made our way to the front with the others.
“This has been one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time,” Tech states, once we’re all outside.
“I’d have to concur,” the normally silent Lethal agrees. I liked the rugged looking guy. He reminds me of Grandfather, in the sense that he sits back and observes everyone and everything around him.
“Well, I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m ready to fall into my bed,” Xander jokes.
I was about to speak but halted my words when a black sedan slowly approached us. An eerie feeling came over me, as I watched the passenger window start to go down.
“Zar,” I call.
We pushed the women behind us, as we pulled our weapons. As it passed, we saw the side profile of a man in the passenger seat. He turned his head and smiled at us.
“Trent,” Nina murmurs.
We stare harder, getting a better look. The man did favor Trent, but his face was partially shaded from the darkness in the car. He began to laugh, raising his hand and forming his fingers into a gun.
“Pow, pow,” he mouths as the car speeds off.
“Why didn’t you all shoot him! That was Trent,” Nina panics.
Zar grabs her arms, and says, “Nina, how can you be sure? The guy looked like Trent but are you sure?”
She nods her head up and down. “I’d know those eyes and smile anywhere. It was him.”
“Fuck,” Zar roars, engulfing her in his arms.
“Did anyone get the license plates,” Mike asks.
