Dad walked us to the door where I quickly changed from my heels into my sneakers and grabbed my backpack with my school stuff in it.
“She’s gonna sleep on it and be back to her normal self soon. Don’t worry,” Dad promised.
I hugged him one more time and watched as Riggs did the same, then he opened the door to let us out.
“Have a good night. Call me if you need anything.”
“I will. Thank you, Dad.”

“That went better than expected, huh?” Riggs said as he crawled into bed with me.
“Yeah, well…I hope she does actually get over it. It’s not easy for her to get things that bother her out of her mind.”
“At least she said she’d try.”
I nodded, pulling the covers over our bodies and cuddling up to him. It was late already, and even though seeing him in a suit, looking handsome as ever, I didn’t feel like having sex tonight.
We’ve done some pretty dirty and messed up shit in the past months, pushing each other’s limits and showing how much we wanted one another.
Being close and ciddling without the intention of fucking was nice sometimes too, but that didn’t mean we wouldn’t wake up early tomorrow morning to fuck in the shower before I would head to school.
Riggs kissed my temple and pulled me closer to his body, and I turned my head to look up at him, placing my hand on his chest and caressing his skin softly.
“Have I told you yet how beautiful you are?” he asked, keeping his voice low.
I smiled at him and shrugged. “I wouldn’t mind hearing you say it again.”
He cupped the back of my head with one hand, his serious eyes flashing with pure love and admiration.
“You’re beautiful, and I’m the luckiest motherfucker in the whole damn world,” he said, making me laugh at his choice of words.
“I’m just as lucky,” I told him in whisper, keeping my eyes on the man I had never known I needed so desperately in my life.
I loved him, and if people lived a second or even third life…I would wanna live mine all over again with him by my side.
No matter what people would think.
And no matter our ages.
Six months later
I had thought about this for months now, and I knew it was something Valley wouldn’t say no to.
I was waiting for her to come back home after school, pacing the floor in my living room and staring at the door from time to time.
What I had in mind would certainly spice up our relationship, and it would excite her for sure.
There was no way she would decline my offer, and the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to go through with my plan.
The door finally opened, and Valley walked in with her school uniform on, looking incredible as ever.
“Hi,” she greeted with the sweetest smile. “I thought you wouldn’t be home for another hour or so.”
That was what I had thought too, but while I was playing golf with her father and two other friends, I felt the urge to come home early and make her an offer.
“Come here,” I demanded, pulling my hands out of my pockets and waiting for her to reach me.
