I smiled, because as wild as I seemed on the outside, I was proud of myself for being smart, even kicking some of the nerds’ asses in most classes.
“This is a hundred-dollar gift card for you to spend in whatever store or restaurant around town,” Mr. Thompson said as he pushed the card over to me on his desk.
I knew about those gift cards. People could purchase them at the town hall, and mostly were gifted at Christmas or Birthdays.
It was a great gift when you didn’t want to worry about what to buy for someone, and this way, you could choose how to spend that money.
I smiled at him and reached for it. “This is great! Thank you so much,” I said, proud of myself for everything I’ve achieved so far.
“You’re welcome, Miss Bentley. Now, go to class. Don’t wanna ruin your perfect attendance.”
“Nope, and I won’t. Thank you again,” I said, standing up and smiling at both of them before leaving the office.
I guess telling Mr. T. about it wasn’t such a bad thing after all, and now they had a few more things to dream about at night because of me.
Too bad Mr. T. didn’t have a chance with me anymore, now that I belonged to Riggs.
I headed into class and sat down next to Kennedy as she looked at me with a concerned look. “Everything okay?” she asked.
“Yeah, everything’s perfect. Life’s perfect,” I assured her with a smile.
She smiled back and rubbed my arm, and sure enough we had to focus on our teacher while I tried my best not to grin like a fool, sitting there and thinking of my man who I’d see later tonight.

“Where are you going?” Dad asked as I walked through the foyer with my backpack filled with my pajamas and overnight things.
I stopped in my tracks and turned to him, seeing his and Della’s eyes on me, looking curious as ever.
“Kennedy’s. We’re having a sleepover,” I said, highlighting my lie with a sweet smile.
“When will you be back tomorrow? Your uncle has invited us to the country club to have dinner with them. Riggs will come too,” he explained.
“He will?”
“Yeah, at least that’s what he told me. He’s been busy the past few days.”
Yeah…making me come and fucking me in every room of his house.
“Okay, I’ll be home around lunch time.”
“Make sure to eat breakfast in the morning because I won’t cook anything for lunch tomorrow as we’ll have a big dinner at the club,” Della announced.
“Okay. Good night you guys,” I said, waving at them and then heading out the door to get to my car.
I couldn’t wait to see Riggs again.
The drive to his house didn’t take too long, and after parking next to his car, I got out of mine and rushed over to his front door.
I knocked three times, then stepped back and waited for him to open it while I tucked my hair behind my ears to get it out of my face.
I chose to wear a pleated skirt, similar to my school uniform but with a black, long-sleeved shirt on top, feeling as confident and sexy as ever.
The door swung open and Riggs stood there in his dark gray sweatpants and a white shirt which fit him perfectly.
“Hi,” I greeted, biting my bottom lip to hide my excitement.
Riggs, on the other hand, didn’t care about showing his emotions for once, which I kinda liked instead of him being grumpy all the damn time.
