Mikayla dumped the towel into the hamper and scurried out of the bathroom. “I didn’t mean it!” she called from down the hall. “You know, I would apologize, but I’m too jealous that he has visited you multiple times!”
After glancing up at me, Jada furrowed her brows. “Has he?”
I swallowed hard and nodded. “Three.”
“Fuck.”
“Yeah, and he’s done that three times now too.”
“Shit,” Jada cursed. “The one that visited me only came once.”
My eyes widened slightly because for the first time since last night, I didn’t feel crazy.
“When did it happen?” she asked.
“Last night. This morning at the café. And just now.”
“How’d it happen just now?” Jada asked. “You were right in front of us the whole time.”
“He can … he can stop time,” I whispered. “And make people invisible.”
“Probably has some other powers too,” Mikayla said, already back with the tea.
“How the hell did you get back so quickly?” Jada asked.
Mikayla rocked back on her heels, curly red hair bouncing around her shoulders.
Once Jada rolled her eyes and muttered, “You have some explaining to do,” she retrieved a clean pair of pants from my bedroom.
I walked to the living room and collapsed onto the couch, not caring anymore that Jim had just been humping it with his crusty dick.
“I’m going to get pregnant.”
“You’re not going to get pregnant,” Jada said. “Aren’t demons, like, dead or something?”
“Those are vampires,” I said.
“Yeah, but same thing, right, Mikayla?”
“Statistically speaking,” Mikayla started.
Jada held up her hand. “Some bullshit ’bout to come out of your mouth, huh?”
“No,” Mikayla said. “I’m just saying that statistically speaking with all that cum inside her, she may very likely get pregnant because sex demons not only have a lot of sperm, but their sperm is very strong.”
“Some bullshit,” Jada murmured. “Told you.”
“He told me he is going to breed me,” I whispered. “And I liked it.”
“Daaaamn.”
Jada hurled a pillow at Mikayla so hard that it sent her flying across the room and slamming into the wall. When she fell to the ground, there was a huge Mikayla-sized indent in the wall. My eyes widened.
“Wh-what was that?” I asked.
Jada stared down at her hands in shock. “I … don’t know.”
Mikayla hopped up like that blast hadn’t just affected her and dusted herself off. “I do.” She grabbed her purse from the standnear the door. “But I think it would be better if I brought you somewhere to explain. Our apartment is now cursed with sex demons, who will come and go as they please, and we can’t have another Iza situation on our hands. Follow me.”
