“You’re gonna be an aunt!” She exclaimed, throwing her arms around her sister again.

“And an uncle,” I said to Damien.

“Oh my gods. You’re serious.” The smile spread over her face. “You’re really having a baby? And this is… good? We’re happy? Excited?”

“Very happy,” Luna confirmed. “And, well… two babies. That’s what the healer said. I’m hoping to come to the doctor in Pleasant Grove to get an ultrasound.” Luna scrunched up her nose. “Technology here isn’t quite what it is back home.”

“You can say that again.” Willow laughed.

“Congratulations, you two,” Damien said, playfully bumping his fist into my shoulder. “Twins. Wow. Overachiever, much?”

I shrugged, shoving my hands. “That’s what it’s like when you’re the insufferable older brother, you know. Always gotta do my best to one-up you.”

Damien smirked. “Let’s just wait and see how that turns out, huh? Besides, you’re not the insufferable crown prince any longer.”

Huh. “No. I guess I’m not.” The golden spiked crown on my head proved that.

Luna rolled her eyes at the two of us. “Now, if the two of you are both done being insufferable…”

I held back my grin at her feisty attitude. I wanted to fuck it right out of her. An idea for later.

“Never.” Both of us grinned as our mates gave a little huffed sound, then laughter.

We stayed out on the balcony like that until Willow was shivering, and Damien draped his jacket around her shoulders.

“Should we head back to our rooms, Wil?”

“Mmm. Yes. I’ve missed that bathtub.”

He chuckled. “I know you do.”

“I can’t believe my little sister got marriedandis pregnant before me,” Willow bemoaned as they walked away.

“We can remedy that, you know.”

She punched him in the shoulder. “Patience,Padawan. We’re not ready yet.”

A fang popped out from Damien’s lip. “Are you sure? And don’t think I didn’t catch the Star Wars reference.”

“At least you’re learning.” Willow patted his arm. “We’ve still got a lot of pop culture to catch you up on, demon.”

“Little witch, you so enjoy torturing me, don’t you?” He leaned down, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

“You know you like it.”

Damien leaned down, whispering something in Willow’s ears that had her turning bright red.

“Goodnight, you two!” Luna called after them.

“Finally alone,” I said, snaking an arm around Luna’s waist to pull her in closer to me. She ran her hands down over her bump, her small belly poking through the fabric as she held them there.

“This feels familiar,” she mused, wrapping her arms around my neck. I swayed us slightly to the music I heard from inside.

I thought about that night all those months ago. When I’d first brought her here, and she’d been like a single lone star in the sky—my beacon of light.

“Do you remember what I asked you that night?”

She furrowed her brows as if deep in thought. “If I thought I could be happy here?”
