“Look, I grew up with three brothers whose greatest joy in life was making our lives a living hell. My sisters and I learned early on that we have to be quick and never let anyone take advantage of us because we’re better than how we were treated at times. My dads and Pops taught us how to defend ourselves from the time we were old enough to understand what they were saying. This skank has nothing on me and I know that. Kaden and Colton would never be with her even if I weren’t here. She talks too much shit about Colton for Kaden to want her,” I say with a smile on my face as Kember rests her head on my shoulder.

“When did you know you liked Ghost and Geek?” Hope questions me, knowing our families all hung out over the years.

“From the time I realized what a crush was. In high school I didn’t give any of the guys a chance with me because I was saving myself for them. It’s always been my dream to be with the two of them. No one else will ever compare to them in my eyes. I think my family and theirs knew where my mind and heart were too. My dads, especially Cage, would always watch over me a little more when the two of them were around. Back then, I don’t really believe they saw me as anything more than another club kid. I’m not sure when it changed for them though,” I answer Hope, a friend I’ve known my entire life.

“We definitely saw you, Tink. It changed for both of us when we realized what was happenin’ in our pants and with our hearts. You’re the only woman who’s ever made our hearts race and beat out of control from simply walkin’ in the room,” Ghost says, leaning over me to press his lips against mine as Kember starts giggling and reaching up for him. “There’s my girl. Have you been good today?”

Kaden tickles Kember while holding her close as her little giggles fill the common room. I watch on as she presses a little hand on each side of his face and presses her lips to his cheek in a messy kiss. Kember pulls back and immediately buries her head in his neck, her shy side showing as we all laugh at how cute she is.

“It looks like I’ve got somerealcompetition for your affection, Kaden. What am I supposed to do with this new knowledge?” I ask him, knowing Liz is watching the scene unfold.

“You’ve got nothin’ to worry about, Tink. You’re always my number one girl. Been that way for as long as I can remember,” he responds as the door opens and Geek strides in and doesn’t stop until he’s behind me.

Geek lifts me in his arms from the chair I’ve been in and I wrap my legs around his waist while he presses his lips against mine and doesn’t hesitate to deepen the kiss we’re sharing. Without a word, he carries me from the common room and straight upstairs as I listen to Kaden’s footsteps following us. Kaden opens our bedroom door before letting Colton carry me inside. He doesn’t break the kiss as I’m lowered to the bed with his body covering mine. I’m not sure what the hell happened while he was gone, but I’ll give my man whatever he needs to feel safe and know I’m here with him and that I’m not going anywhere.

“Sweet Angel, I need you. Are you sore?” Colton asks me when he finally breaks the kiss as we both pant for breath.

“I’m not sore. Are you okay, Colton? I’ve never seen you like this before,” I ask him, watching his eyes to find the truth hidden in the depths.

“I’m okay, Sweet Angel. It’s just been a long day and I feel as if I haven’t seen you hardly at all over the last week. I know we’re with you daily, but it feels like so much is goin’ on and I’m startin’ to crack under the pressure,” he answers me honestly as I nod and watch as he stands back from me to remove his clothes while Kaden moves to help me strip out of mine.

Before anything else happens, Kaden leaves the room so Colton and I can have this time to ourselves. Colton worships my body for the rest of the night. We don’t leave the room for dinner or anything. Kaden brings our dinner up and the three of us eat in the safety of our room before we take a shower and spend the rest of the night exploring one another as we’ve been doing since the first time we had sex.

Chapter Sixteen

Ghost

WE HAD CHURCH thismorning and called Cage and Grim, Gage, Slim, Renegade, Lash, Venom, and a few other clubs so we’re all on the same page. Everyone has been talking to Terrence’s previous employers, his family, the few people he called friends, and anyone else they can think of. Since they’re all located closer to Clifton Falls, Cage and Joker have been handling that. I really wouldn’t want to be on the end of an interrogation by Cage when it comes to someone fucking with one of his daughters. I can imagine how horrible he’s been when dealing with everyone and knows Joker was there to pull him back when he got too lost in getting the information by any means necessary.

The only thing we can do at this point is exactly what we’ve been doing by searching for the stupid fuck while protecting Alana by any means necessary. We’re not happy with her lack of protection though. Vault has ordered that Alana has two men on her when she’s away from the clubhouse no matter where she is and Kian or Deegan will remain at the clubhouse on the days she doesn’t work and is in the clubhouse.

“How’s she doin’ when it comes to leavin’ the clubhouse?” Cage asks as I look at Geek where we sit at the table.

“Not good, Cage. If she’s not at the tattoo shop with me, she doesn’t leave. All of her counselin’ appointments are done on a video call and she almost has a panic attack every single time I put her in my truck and head through the gates of the compound. Doc doesn’t really need to see her any longer either. If he does, he comes to the clubhouse. I don’t know what’s gonna make this situation better,” I answer him honestly as he curses through the phone.

“And what have you done with the tracker you found in her fuckin’ neck?” Joker asks, his usually calm voice hard and cold in ways I’ve never heard from him before.
