“You’ve gone and lost your mind.” Julian pointed at me.

I tipped the glass to my lips with a smile, took a sip, and set it down.

“Perhaps I have. I’ll see you two tomorrow.” I stood up, grabbed my briefcase, and left the bar.

My driver, Ollie, pulled into the driveway of my home.

“See you in the morning, boss.”

“See you tomorrow, Ollie.” I smiled, shutting the door.

After changing out of my suit and into my swim trunks, I dove into the pool and did a few laps. I hadn’t stopped thinking about Morgan since our night together, which frustrated me. That gorgeous and sexy woman was a force to be reckoned with, and I knew it. But once my curiosity was piqued, there was no going back until I found out exactly who she was.

When I heard my phone ringing, I climbed out of the pool, grabbed it off the table, and saw that my mother was calling.

“Hey, Mom.”

“Hi, darling. This is just a reminder that family dinner is at my house this Sunday.”

“I haven’t forgotten, Mom. You know I’ll be there.”

“Good. I haven’t seen you since the last family dinner two weeks ago. You haven’t even told me yet how the wedding was.”

“It was nice. We can talk about it on Sunday.”

“Okay. Make sure to remind your brothers about dinner.”

“They haven’t forgotten either. I’ll see you then.”

“Goodbye, darling. Enjoy the rest of your evening.”

“You too, Mom.”

I sent a text to my brothers in our group chat.

“Katherine just called. Family dinner is at her house this Sunday, just in case you didn’t know.”

“Calista already informed me,”Julian replied.

“So did, Pippa,”Parker replied.

I swam a few more laps, went upstairs, brushed my teeth, and climbed into bed. Grabbing my phone from the nightstand, I brought up the picture I took of her passport and stared at her photo, sliding my hand down my pajama bottoms. The last time I’d had sex was with her, and I was desperate. I could have called any woman I had saved in my phone for a fun night, but I didn’t want just any woman—I wanted Morgan Ashley again.

“Olivia, come in here,” I shouted from behind my desk.

“Yes, Roman?”

“I want you to move all of the Williamson files out of my office and put them in conference room two, along with a company laptop.”

“Okay. I thought you were going through them in here,” she said.

“Someone is coming in this afternoon to work on the case.”

“Someone outside this firm?” Her brows furrowed.

“Yes. Her name is Morgan Ashley, and she’s from New York. In fact, I need to go meet her.” I stood from my desk and put on my suit coat. “Ensure all the files are out of here before I return.”

“Will do, boss.”
