“Oh, shit. Really?” He set our drinks in front of us.
“Yes, really,” Roman said. “Did they hook up with other people?”
“All the time. They liked to join a certain group of people in our orgy room,” the bartender spoke. “Are you two cops or something?”
“No. She was our friend, and we’re trying to find out who killed her.”
“I hope you do. She was a nice woman.” He walked away.
A man about five feet eight inches tall, with a balding head, held a feather tickler. He walked over and ran it down my arm.
“Hello, you sexy beast. I can make your wildest fantasies come true.”
“First, don’t ever touch me with that again. Second, not with that, you can’t.” I pointed to his tiny erect penis.
“Bitch,” he scowled and walked away.
Roman chuckled. “That wasn’t very nice telling him his penis couldn’t satisfy you. You probably just gave him a complex.”
“He already has one. That’s why he comes to this club.” I smiled.
We saw Gregory in the corner, with his pants down, having sex with some blonde-haired woman.
“Let’s go. I have a plan, and I don’t want him to see us,” I said, finishing my drink.
“But we just got here. Let’s explore.” He took hold of my hand and led me to a corner of the club that wasn’t occupied.
His body locked mine against the wall, and the back of his hand softly stroked my cheek.
“What do you think you’re doing?” I asked.
“We’re in a sex club, Morgan. What do you think I’m doing?”
“If you think we’re having sex in front of all these people, think again, Hamilton.”
“I don’t think that. I would never have sex publicly. We have to play the part, right?”
A couple approached us, and the woman placed her hand on Roman’s shoulder.
“You two are sexy. How would you like to switch partners for a while?” she asked. “I’d love to see what you have to offer.” She winked at him.
“And I’d love to see you totally naked.” Her husband stared at me.
“Sure, we’d love to.” I smiled. “But we have a rule. No condoms. We both have STDs and want to share the love.”
“Fucking freaks.” They both walked away.
“Oh, we’re the freaks?” I rolled my eyes.
I watched Gregory walk over to the bar and ask the bartender for a shot. After setting the glass down on the bar and walking away, I ran over, grabbed a napkin, picked up the glass, and Roman and I left the club.
CHAPTER 20
Morgan
After Ollie dropped Roman off at the office, I had him take me to the police station to speak with Detective Lambert.
“Excuse me, is Detective Lambert in today?” I asked another handsome detective, noting that Detective Lambert’s desk looked like it hadn’t been used in a couple of days.
