Page 45 of If You Need Me

DALLAS

“You really didn’t need to do this. I could have called a car or waited it out.” Wills buckles her seat belt.

It started raining half an hour ago, so I decided to pick her up from work. My timing was perfect, seeing as it’s turned into a torrential downpour. “I don’t mind.” Besides, it gives me time to prepare for dinner with her family tomorrow night.

She checks her phone and sighs before shoving it back in her purse.

“Everything okay?”

“Yeah. No. Just my family inundating me with messages about this weekend. My moms were pissed about missing the proposal. Then there’s been some shit with the rink schedules.” Her head falls back, and she sighs. “I could really use some stress relief, but now that we’re a thing, that isn’t going to happen. It’s making me salty.”

“Why can’t you get stress relief? Just schedule a massage. Or I can give you one.” That’s a brilliant fucking idea. I would love to get my hands on Wills.

She gives me a look. “I’m not looking for a massage, Dallas.”

“What are you looking for, Wills?” I glance at her as I wait my turn at the stop sign.

She arches a brow.

I arch one back.

She sighs. “I have a friend.”

“A friend? What kind of friend?”

Her expression tells me everything I need to know.

Jealousy makes my spine hot. “Like a fuck buddy?”

“Do not be judgmental. Women are allowed to have casual sex just like men.”

“I’m not—you’re not fucking him now, are you?” The steering wheel groans under my grip. I would like to lay out any person who ever touched her before me, but that’s irrational and ridiculous.

“No. Of course not. We’re engaged.” She makes air quotes around the wordengaged. “But typically when I’m feeling…exceptionally stressed, I’ll reach out. If he’s in town, we see each other. Get naked, get off, and get out. It’s no strings, no feelings, all chemistry.”

“No feelings at all?” This mystifies me. All my feelings are tied up in this siren of a woman.

“None. We’re not relationship compatible. I want a long-term partner, and he doesn’t. But he’s hot, and he’s good in bed.”

I point to myself. “I’m hot and good in bed.” What I would do for her if she gave me the chance. She would never need her hookup buddy again once I got on my knees for her.

“Seriously, Dallas, your ego needs a break.” She crosses and uncrosses her legs.

I stop at the light. Traffic is stupid because of the rain. Normally the drive to her place takes five minutes, but we’re crawling today. “I’m your fiancé. If you have needs, I will meet them.”

“Oh my God, just stop.” She crosses her arms. “We’re not actually together.”

“I’m serious, Wills. You need to get off, I will make that happen for you. However you want it to happen. You want me to finger fuck you to orgasm? My hands are yours. Wanna sit onmy face? My tongue is ready. You want to ride my cock? I’m already hard.” I point at my crotch.

She shakes her head. “You’ve lost your mind. I’m not going to have sex with you.”

I make a right into her parking garage.

“What are you doing?”

“Parking.” I pull into a visitor spot. “I got you into this mess. You can’t see this fuck-buddy guy.” Who I want to destroy for having her in ways I never will. Unless she takes me up on my offer. “Use me.”

Her eyes move over me in a way that jacks me right up. I shift and stretch my arm across the back of her seat. “Please.” I wet my bottom lip. “Let me be the one to make it better.”
