Page 60 of Theirs to Rule

Downstairs, I heard voices, followed by Kage’s unmistakable laughter. Anxiety that I hadn’t even realized I was holding onto began to ease in my stomach. Laughing was a good sign that he was feeling better today.

Dragging myself out of bed, I tucked the notes into my nightstand drawer, already knowing I’d want to come back and look at them later. I checked my phone and then got in the shower. I sighed as the hot water streamed over my body. I remembered how right it had felt to be lying between Kage and Dante. At some point, Kage would be moving on with Daniella—I swiped back the tears that welled in my eyes at the thought—but until then, I got to enjoy both of them.

When I made it downstairs, I was shocked to see Ty standing by the stove and flipping hotcakes while Dante and Kage sat at the table, talking and shoveling food into their mouths. I looked at Ty warily.

“Wow,” I said cautiously, stepping further inside. “This looks amazing.”

Ty turned, his eyes locking on mine. His gaze flickered briefly to my neck—where his mark from last night still lingered—and something dark passed through his expression. Pride,possession... regret? It was gone before I could figure it out. “Gotta start the day off right,” he said simply, handing me a plate piled high with food. “Made yours with lemon and sugar. Just like you like it.”

“Thanks,” I murmured, sitting down at the table. Ty was impossible to predict, but I wasn’t stupid enough to miss what this gesture meant. For Ty, this was an apology—or at least the closest thing I’d get to one.

Before I could take a bite, Kage’s voice cut through the room like a knife. “What thehellhappened to your neck?”

My stomach dropped. His eyes darted between me and Ty, his expression darkening as realization dawned. In one swift motion, he shoved his chair back and stormed toward Ty.

“Kage, don’t!” I shouted, but it was too late.

Kage’s fist slammed into Ty’s jaw, the sound reverberating in the kitchen. Ty staggered back, blood streaking his lip, but he didn’t retaliate immediately. Instead, he smirked. “Feel better?”

“Did you do that to her?” Kage snarled, grabbing Ty’s shirt and shoving him against the wall. “Answer me.”

Ty’s smirk didn’t waver. “Why? You jealous?” His voice was calm, mocking. “Or mad because you weren’t here to do it yourself?”

“Stop it!” I shouted again, but Dante’s hand on my arm held me back.

“Let them work it out,” Dante said, his tone low but firm.

Ty shoved Kage off him, standing his ground. “Go ahead. Ask her if she liked it,” he said coldly, nodding toward me.

Kage turned, his fury now directed at me. “If he hurt you?—”

“I’m fine!” I cut him off, my voice sharp. “I liked it. Everything we did, I wanted.”

Kage froze, his fists lowering as something like confusion crossed his face. “Rebel...”

I held his gaze, my cheeks flaming. “Sometimes I want something different, Kage. Pain and pleasure, mixed together. I know that’s not who you are, or Dante. But with Ty...” My voice trailed off, and I glanced at Ty. For a split second, his tough exterior cracked. There was pain there—raw and real—but he quickly looked away.

"I’m sorry if it makes you think less of me," I said to Kage.

A taut silence surrounded us interrupted only by the smell of something burning on the stove. Abruptly, Ty shoved the pan off the flame and turned the stove off.

Kage sighed, running a hand through his hair before stepping closer to me. “I don’t think less of you,” he said softly. “We’ve talked about this. There’s nothing wrong with wanting what you want. I just need to know you’re safe.” His voice hardened as he turned to Ty. “And thatheknows the line. You get one warning, Ty. That’s it.”

Ty’s lips twisted into a bitter smile. “I don’t need your warnings, Kage. Whatever happens between us, it happens with Camille's consent. Even if it's consensual non-consent.

They were standing around talking about things like a rape fantasy in front of me. My face flamed even hotter, and I wished the ground would open and swallow me. I couldn't get any words out, but Kage didn't have that problem.

"Know the difference, asshole," Kage shot back. "Or face the consequences." He returned his attention back to me. "Come on, Rebel. Sit beside us and eat your breakfast.

I sat down, but the tension didn’t dissipate. Ty stayed leaning against the counter, his eyes never leaving me. Dante and Kage tried to act normal, but I could feel their concern, their frustration.

Ty didn't join us but ate from his own plate standing up, leaning against the wall, his eyes never leaving me. I feltdisoriented. I didn’t know how they could go back to pretending things were normal after what had just happened.

Finally, I sat down then dug into my hotcakes. I only got a few bites in before I sat back and studied them again. I had three hot guys next to me. I was attracted to all of them in different ways. And theyknewthat I was into all of them. It was weird. Yet it was a weird I could get used to. It was a weird Iwantedto get used to.

I bit my lip, dirty fantasies of the four of us together seeping into my mind. I pressed my thighs together as my core tingled, arousal sweeping through me. I was horny as fuck at the mere thought of the three of them pleasuring me at the same time, each in their own way. It was almost enough to make me orgasm on the spot. I sucked in a breath, my body heating with desire as I imagined Kage kissing me while Dante tenderly sucked my nipples. Ty would be watching, intensity burning in his eyes, then he’d swagger over to me, force my legs apart and bury his face in my?—

“Camille?”
