I blinked in surprise. “You’d do that?”
“I’ve eaten you out and you jerked me off. So yeah, I can help you pass…”
At his deliberate pause, I said, “Calculus. And Seduction 102.”
Something flickered across Kage’s expression before it went blank, but he hadn’t fooled me.
I sighed. “You know.”
“About what?”
“My Seduction 102 failure. You heard how I made a fool of myself trying to act seductive in front of the entire class.”
Kage winced. “Alex might have said something…”
I groaned and sat on his bed, grabbing a pillow to bury my face in it. Kage laughed and pulled the pillow away from me. “Camille, don’t worry about it.”
“How can you say that? You weren’t there. You didn’t see. It was awful, Kage.”
He lifted a hand to rub the back of his neck. “Actually, I did see. Someone made a video and put it on social media,” he said.
My heart stopped as I stared at him in shock. He laughed. “Relax, Rebel. I’m messing with you.”
“Asshole,” I said, grabbing the pillow from him and swatting him with it, but I was smiling.
“Maybe, but I’m an asshole that can help you out,” he replied. “The thing with you is you overthink things. When you relax, you’re a natural when it comes to being sexy. You seduce me all the time and you don’t even realize it. You know why?” he asked.
I shook my head.
“Because you do it withoutthinking.”
“So what? Are you suggesting a lobotomy?”
“No, smartass. You forget I took Seduction classes too so I know the five acting techniques Professor Santiago teaches.”
I nodded, ticking them off on my fingers. “Method acting, emotional memory, improvisation, body movement and posture, and visualization and imagery. I use the last two.”
“How?”
“By trying to picture myself being seductive right beforehand. By planning out ways to move my body, gestures to make, things I’m going to say.”
He nodded. “Who do you picture seducing?”
“Whoever I’m assigned to seduce. Most recently, Alex.”
“Do you want to fuck Alex?”
I reared back, scrunching up my face. “What? No!”
“Then why imagine seducing him? Why not imagine you’re seducing someone you actually desire?”
I sat up a little straighter. It seemed so simple but it made total sense. “What about technique?”
“You don’t need technique. You just need to remember that the end goal of seduction isn’t sex. It’s theanticipationof sex. It’s about hinting at what you can give without actually giving it and convincing your subject that you have the confidence to go through with whatever you’re offering.”
God, when he put it that way, it almost seemed too easy.
“In other words, lead the person on.”
