Fuck, listening to Ana get all possessive over me is way too hot to stop.

“You won’t be here long enough for it to make any difference,” Zoya snaps back, putting her hand on her hip.

“I’m not going anywhere, Zoya.”

A vicious grin spreads on Zoya’s lips.

“Well, neither am I. I’ll always be in your life. I am part of the family. So you’ll have to suck it up and you’ll always have me on the outside, waiting for you to slip up and lose him.”

Not a chance.

I have to hold myself back as Lara steps to my side.

“How far do we let this go?” Lara whispers.

“Ana can handle herself. Don’t worry.”

“Well, you’ll be waiting for the rest of your life. Mikhail is not yours, Zoya. Get it through that thick skull of yours. You fucked his father. What man in their right mind wants their dad’s sloppy seconds? Revolting. You’re disgusting, letting that old creep fuck you.”

“The Volkov men are a good fuck though. Aren’t they, Mikhail?”

I start to step forward when I see Ana’s hand swing back, but I’m too late. She’s already smashed her palm into the side of Zoya’s face.

Zoya stumbles back with a shocked look towards me. “Miki. Control your whore.”

My fists clench. Lara and Alexei hold me back as rage flashes through me. I’d kill her with one hit.

“Let Ana deal with her.” Lara smacks my arm.

And she does.

Zoya goes flying across the ground like a rag doll, Ana stomping closely behind before she yanks Zoya up by her hair.

“Never call me that,” Ana spits out and shoves her in the pool.

Ana jumps in after her and I debate stopping her.

But watching her go all out like this is something special. My woman is crazy in the best way.

“Miki. She’s going to fucking kill her. Galena needs her mom.” Lara’s eyes are wide as she looks towards the water then back to me.

I sigh.

Alexei is by the edge of the pool cheering Ana on as she holds Zoya by the back of the head under the water, occasionally dragging her up for air.

Lara sets her drink down. “I’ll get Ana. I don’t want you accidentally killing Zoya either.”

She has a point. I’m pretty fired up. It wouldn’t be an accident though.

Lara dives in and grabs hold of a furious Ana. As soon as she realizes it’s Lara, she lets go and backs away.

I don’t know what Lara whispers to Ana, but it calms her down.

Zoya is screaming to me about Ana being a maniac. I zone her out, rushing over to help Ana out of the water.

“You good, baby?” I ask, with my hands on her shoulder.

“Yeah. I feel much better now. I got that out of my system.”
