"I only need to look at your face to know this is it, Sunflower," Theo murmurs, wrapping his arms around me from behind me and resting his chin on my shoulder. Dylan and Henry nod in agreement.
"You're sure? It's going to be freezing. There will be snow on the ground. It could be foggy," I warn.
"We're sure, Isla." Henry and Dylan each take one of my hands, and the three of us stand there, soaking in the absolute rightness about this place. My full body shiver is what finally interrupts the moment. Theo takes off his jacket and wraps it around my shoulders, practically dragging me toward the lodge. The restaurant is cozy and warm; shining wood and soaring ceilings take center stage. We completely forget about our plans to hike to the summit. Instead, we sit by a window with an incredible view, eat the amazing food, and sample a ridiculous amount of whiskey they keep bringing around on a little cart.
We decide that we don't need to see the ship and instead plan to make a detour to the fairy pools. I open my phone and scroll through some holiday rentals, hoping to find something fun for one night.
"Have the three of you ever ridden horses?" I ask, feeling foolish for even having to ask.
"Where do you think our love of going fast comes from?" Theo asks, grinning.
"You're serious?"
"We're from Tennessee, Sunflower. Of course, we know how to ride horses. Do you?"
"Do I?" I shake my head in disbelief. "I don't understand how we've never talked about this before."
"We've been a bit busy since the day we showed up on your doorstep, Isla. Nobody has had much time for riding horses."
"That's true. I do ride. I don't have my own horse, though. I sometimes ride Jack's, but it's been forever."
"Why are you asking if we ride?" Dylan asks, moving the conversation along.
"I have an old family friend who owns a farm not far from the fairy pools. She rents out rooms for guests. Kind of like a bed and breakfast."
"Book it," Henry says, standing up and stretching. "Do you guys want to head back down?" I can't help the way my gaze slides down his body, snagging on the prominent bulge in his pants. I stand, allowing Theo and Dylan to go first so I can talk to Henry.
"What's happening there?" I ask, biting my lip as I trace the outline of his cock with my eyes.
Henry clears his throat and adjusts himself, his cheeks red. "I was thinking about you riding a horse."
"Hm."
"Naked."
"Henry!" I slap his arm, laughing. "Do you know how uncomfortable that would be?"
"Without a shirt then?" he asks hopefully.
"You're hopeless."
"Hopelessly in love with you," he says, putting his arm around me, his hand casually resting on my ass.
"Do you think you'll still be like this when you're old and gray?" I ask as we hurry to catch up with the guys.
"There will never be a day when I don't think about railing you, Isla. I may have to pop a little blue pill, but I'll get the job done."
"Oh, so I'm a job now?" I tease.
"Yeah, and I'm the CEO-DYD."
"What does that stand for?"
"The chief executive officer of dicking you down." I roll my eyes, biting my lip to contain my smile.
"Don't you dare roll your eyes at me, Isla MacLeod." He scoops me into his arms and follows Theo and Dylan onto the empty gondola, a dangerous glint in his eyes.
