Page 50 of Mated in Darkness

“Pay attention to me. I’m balls deep inside of you, and you’re growling. And it’s not the fun type of growl. I’ve been learning what the fun type of growl is.”

“I’m sorry, I’ll pay more attention. I promise.” I squeezed my inner muscles, and he groaned before he lapped up my nipple. We both sighed, our bodies shaking as they came together.

He was just so sweet. And far more dominant than I was expecting. I liked it. He slid deep into me again, both of us arching into one another as the heat of the hunt slid over us, the moon beckoning us. We didn’t need a full moon to run as a Pack, and most of the time we didn’t run on the full moon. Not unless there was a ceremony, or we needed the connection. This run wasn’t just for our mating. It wasn’t just because this was Jason’s first shift. This was because Pack needed the togetherness and attachments after everything that had happened.

And here I was, with my mate, and I wanted it to be perfect. I wanted everything to justbe.

We turned, and he flipped me over, so I was on top, and I looked down on him, pushing my hair back from my face.

“Really?”

“If you’re going to fade off into the distance, I’m not doing it right. Fuck me, woman.”

I threw my head back and laughed before I rolled my hips.

Jason slid his hands up to my hips and squeezed, keeping me steady, and I looked down at him, and then he looked at his hips, pummeling into me as he was the one in control even if I was on top.

I dug my claws into his shoulders, just slightly, and he groaned. I couldn’t help but love the fact that he seemed to be enjoying himself just like I was. “You’re a goddess,” he growled, before he flipped me over again, and I found myself on all fours.

He gripped my hips, this time his claws slightly peeking out of his fingertips. The sensation sent me over the edge, just slightly, and I came, clamping down at his cock as he continued to hammer into me.

“Jason,” I growled.

“That’s it. Keep going. We’re not even close to being done yet.”

“That is the endurance of a wolf, just you wait, mate of mine. Your claws are showing.”

Jason froze for a second, his claws sliding back into his fingertips. Neither one of us were ready for that or what would happen if he lost control, but he was gaining control so quickly.

He was a thinker, he wasn’t soft, and he would be a fighter. And I was falling for him. Just like that, I was falling for him. I couldn’t wait to fall deeper, to find out exactly who he was and who we could be together.

I groaned up into him, pushing back, needing more. And when he flicked his fingers over my clit, I came again, and he followed me, this time with me leaning back up into him, so my back was to his front, one hand over my pussy, the other hand over my breasts.

“You’re so fucking beautiful,” he growled into my ear.

I let out of shaky breath. “I can’t believe I just had sex outside after a hunt with a Pack that’s not our own, and it’s with my mate.”

He chuckled, letting out a breath that tickled my neck. “You think you’re shocked. I have no idea how the hell I got here.”

We made love again, both of us going slow, the moon egging us on. Our wolves needed this, just as much as the humans, but maybe this time was for the wolves.

And when we finished, we cleaned up in the nearby creek and changed into clothes that smelled distinctly of Riaz.

Jason growled and put the sweats up to his nostrils. “Is that? I know that scent.”

I beamed, loving the way that he was leaning into these new talents and senses of his.

“Yes, that is Riaz.”

He frowned as he handed them over. “Am I supposed to like you smelling just like another man?”

I sighed. “I don’t smell like him. It’s just a contact layer from him setting it down. They’re our clothes. I’m not going to smell like him in a minute once it dissipates. And you’re not going to smell like him either. I’m just as territorial. Just making sure you understand that.”

His eyes glowed gold. Damn it. His wolf was so freaking controlled even after such a short time. I couldn’t help but smile at them both. “I see. Good to know. And now that I can focus a little bit more, the scent of Riaz has dissipated.” He paused. “So he was around for all of that?”

I rolled my eyes. “No, he was doing his own thing. I didn’t scent anyone around us, so I have a feeling that they gave us some space. At least my father and my cousin weren’t the ones that handed off the clothes, because what would be a whole other set of questions.”

Jason winced, and I went up to my tiptoes to kiss him. I slid my feet into my shoes, and I watched as Jason put his knife in his boot.
