I open my mouth but he holds his hand out, stopping me. “I am stressed as fuck, Hannah. I don’t want to fight. Either get in the shower with me and help me fucking relax or turn on the TV and turn the volume up.”

“Why would I do that?”

“Wait and find out.” He winks and strolls out toward the ensuite.

The realization came slow and late. But I know now what he was talking about.

Raleigh just said he is going to jerk off in the shower. In not so many words. I hurry toward the door and step outside.

Damn. It’s not even the end of the day and Raleigh is set out to seduce me.

I can’t believe he offered sex so causally. Maybe he was joking. Maybe not.

I push off the door and decide to take a walk while he showers in our suite.

“Hey, neighbor!” Brielle steps out of the suite beside mine.

“Oh, hey…” I trail when Nina exits the room from behind her. They’re sharing a room too.

“Where’s Raleigh?”

“He is getting a shower. So I thought of taking a stroll around the resort.”

Brielle smirks as she loops her arm around Nina’s neck. “Why are you here and not with him in the shower?”

“Brielle.” I narrow my eyes at her.

“What?” She blinks up at me innocently.

Nina turns her eyes to Brielle. “Hey, babe. Think we should change our room?”

“Why?”

“I am not ready to hear RJ and the Ice Queen going at it like rabbits.” She shivers physically, a grimace marring her lips.

If I deny and object like I want to do, they’ll be suspicious. If I remain silent, it means I’ll be agreeing to it. Damn, I am fucked. The irony isn’t lost on me.

Giving them a lame-ass excuse, I walk briskly toward the elevator.

Before the door could shut, I spot Archer coming out of a room across from mine.

Sharing a suite wasn’t enough, now we have eyes and ears all around us.

Jesus fucking Christ.

Chapter Seventeen

“Here’s to another year of togetherness.” Andrew raises his wine glass.

Today’s our second anniversary as a couple.

He flew to New York from Los Angeles to celebrate our special day with me.

Andrew and I are in a long-distance relationship.

He works in a law firm in LA and we met through a common friend when Andrew was visiting here.

Dating him was a good choice. A safe choice. A choice, my parents approved of.
