We stand there for what feels like forever, breathing in each other.

Pulling back, he grins at me. “I want to show you something.”

He takes my hand in his and tugs me out of the cabana.

He positions me so that I am facing the ocean.

He moves to stand behind me, wrapping his hands around my chest. I clutch his arms, leaning my head back against him.

Raleigh leans down, kissing the shell of my ear. “Now,” he whispers.

For a second, I stare at the night sky and the water in front of me in puzzlement. Then I spot a streak into the sky.

“Is that… Oh my god!” I trail as the dark sky lights up with heart-shaped fireworks.

Back-to-back, the fireworks rush into the sky, the satisfying chirping sound echoes around us before bursting into neon blue glittering hearts.

I have never seen heart-shaped fireworks before. It is magnificent.

After the hearts, the black curtain of the night sky is lit up by the multi-colored flowers fireworks, bright and dazzling.

“This is lovely, Raleigh.” I squeeze his forearms that are banded across my chest.

He nuzzles my neck. “Nothing compared to you.” I blush.

“Damn, you smell so damn good.” He runs the tip of his nose along the side of my neck.

“Let’s go back to our room.” He murmurs and I laugh.

“I am hungry. Feed me.”

He groans against my skin. “Now I am picturing you on your knees.”

“You asked me to be yours. Aren’t you supposed to look after what’s yours?” I bite my lip to stop grinning.

“Fair enough.” He turns me around and my eyes round.

The cabana that was empty a few minutes ago except for the rose bouquets is all set with a table and two chairs. There is even candelabrum on the table.

He holds out his hand. “Would you like to go on a date with me, princess?”

This night couldn’t get any dreamier.

How can I say no to a candlelight dinner with the love of my life?

I put my hand in his. “I’d love to.”

Chapter Twenty-Nine

Ismile as I finish reading the email.

Raleigh won Round Two. I am glad to see that my team members aren’t sulking.

They saw the grand proposal last night and agreed with the results. We know he and his team deserved the win.

My lips curl at the memories from last night. It was perfect.

We had a three-course candlelight dinner after The Grand Proposal.
