“How is it my fault?” He asked, mock offended.
“You shouldn’t have cooked such a hearty lunch.”
His lips twitched higher at the corners. “Well, maybe if you ate more vegetables then you wouldn’t have gotten so sleepy in the middle of the day.”
“I didn’t see your plate overflowing with vegetables,” I countered with a quirked brow, daring him to deny it.
“But you also didn’t see me battling sleep on the sofa.”
“Touché,” I giggled.
My phone buzzed with a text.
Victor:
What are you doing today?
Saffron:
Nothing much
I’m on a walk in Hyde Park right now

That doesn’t sound like you
Anyway, Horatio and I have two tickets to the West End tonight that we can't make it to any more
Do you want them?
Saffron:
Yes, please!
That sounds great
But why can’t you make it? Is everything okay?

Horatio’s Mum is in town, and we couldn't get a third ticket
