“Oh, you know, hot sex, many orgasms, a giant wall of gorgeous man to fall asleep next to. The usual.” She walks her fingers up my abs as I laugh. “I’ve never called anyone daddy before. I hope that was okay.”
“Better than okay, baby. It was like you struck a match inside me. I’ve never felt like I was going to fuck a woman through a wall before, but that did it.”
She chuckles. “Through the wall, huh?”
“I’m sure I still could.”
“I have no doubt.” She yawns and I reach over to turn the lamp off.
“We’ll try that later, for now, get some sleep.”
“Mmm,” she answers, cuddling into my chest. “You’re not going to make me go back to my room are you?”
“Fuck no.”
She laughs and then yawns again and by the time her head hits my bicep, she’s out. Wrapping my free arm around her tight, I let my body relax for the first time in years and follow after her.

I wakeup with a start bright and early the next morning to the sound of my phone buzzing. It takes me a moment to figure out where I am and the moment I see Gus’ gorgeous head, still resting on my bicep, her arm draped possessively over my hip, the perfection of the previous night comes back to me.
All I can do is smile. It might be all I do for the rest of my life.
And the weirdest part? I slept. Like a rock. It was the best fucking sleep I’ve ever had. I feel like I could run a marathon, climb Everest, and win the Tour de France in the same day.
I don’t even care that we slept through our chance to use my little brown bag of condoms, this feeling I have right now, is worth it.
Trying not to wake Gus, I reach for my phone and open it to find a text from Liam.
LIAM:Hey man, hope everything is ok with Gus. Glad you stayed instead of driving in the storm. There was a lot of damage between here and Denver. Big news. Call me when you get a chance.
My mind races for a minute trying to think of what the big news might be, but I toss my phone to the side so I can spend the dwindling minutes before we head back with Gus in my arms. There is no news big enough to interrupt this.
I snuggle back in with her and drift off again.
“Oh my God,” Gus says, when she blinks her eyes open an hour later. “I feel like I slept for a week.” She looks up at me and smiles. “Good morning.”
I can’t help smiling back. I lean forward to kiss her lips. “Good morning gorgeous. How are you?”
“Perfect,” she answers, blushing. I can’t get over the fact that even in the morning, she’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. “Best sleep I’ve ever had.”
“Me too.”
Her eyes snag on the alarm clock behind me and she groans. “We have to get back to reality, don’t we?”
“Mmm, I mean we could just stay here and never go back, but I’m pretty sure my brothers would have a meltdown.”
She giggles. “Well, maybe Liam, nothing seems to bother Elliot, does it?”
“Not a thing. It’s annoying as fuck.”
“Agreed, I wish I knew how to do it.”
“You and me both. Speaking of my brothers, Liam texted, said he had some big news. He wants me to call him.”
Her eyes round. “You haven’t yet?”
“Of course not,” I tell her honestly, “I was too busy enjoying you.”
