“Mmm, I’d say four hours.”

Lex’s eyes flew open. “Wait. You’ve been stuck in my ass for four hours?”

“Seems that way.” He nuzzled him as if it didn’t matter at all.

“Bad puppy.” Lex swatted at him. “You kissing and biting me is probably why you’re still stuck. Cut it out.” Silas gave an annoyed huff and Lex laughed. “What has gotten into you?”

“You’re mine and I want to keep touching you,” he said in an echoing whisper.

Lex swallowed as the tentacles snaked around his legs and gripped him.Death Walker Silas is possessive after sex. Noted.“Daddy. I am yours and I adore you.” He spoke softly, trying to soothe him. “But we have to go soon. I can’t leave attached to you.”

“I suppose that’s true.” Silas nuzzled the crook of his neck.

I’m going to have to tie him down when we have sex in the future at this rate.“So, how do you feel? I know you were nervous.”

“Grateful,” he said, putting a hand over Lex’s and lacing their fingers together. “Thank you for loving me despite all of this. I didn’t think I’d get to have this. I don’t have the right words for how much you mean to me.”

“You said it perfectly.” Lex kissed his hand and let Silas hold him in the dim tent. “Did you sleep?”

“No. I don’t feel the need to sleep at all. I’m more awake than I’ve been in ages. My mother never slept, so I think it’s a Death Walker thing.”

“I see,” Lex said slowly.Sexually insatiable, with no need to sleep. That will be interesting to deal with.

“You feel so good,” Silas purred and rocked against him again. “Let me have you one more time before the others wake up.”

“Cuddling only. I mean it. I am not leaving this tent attached to your dick. My family will never let me live it down.”

They cuddled, and after an hour of resting, Silas's cock slipped out of Lex. A strangled sound of pain and relief escaped him. “I was getting scared I’d be stuck forever. We have to figure that out before we have sex again.” He winced as he moved his stiff legs. “It must be time to go soon.”

“You might be right,” Silas pouted. “I hear the others stirring.”

On cue, Julian’s tired voice called out. “Lex!” His voice bounced off the stone walls. “Make a sound so we know your daddy didn’t fuck you to death.”

“I’m alive,” Lex called back, his face getting hot. “Yep, definitely need to go soon.”

Silas sat up but stayed quiet and looked away. His tentacles curled inward like angry snakes ready to strike.

“Something wrong?” Lex asked, watching Silas curiously as he sat next to him.

“No,” Silas said, still not looking at him. “Tired.”

“Your tentacles give away your moods, and you told me earlier you don’t need to sleep. Now tell me what’s on your mind.”

Silas clenched his hands. “Your family finds me possessive. They’re not wrong. My wolf instincts make me clingy. But now with my Death Walker instincts blending, I can tell my urges to keep you close are worse. I know we have to go, logically. I know they’re your family, but the idea of sharing you with everyone is...upsetting.”

“Daddy, I’m still yours, even if I’m around other people.” Lex leaned in and kissed his cheek. “I think you are a bit lost after all the play, too. I bet your possessiveness will fade once we get out there with everyone. You just need to get out of this tent and get some air.”

“What if it doesn’t? What if I’m always like this with you?”

“We’ll work on it together. Between me spending time with my family and you ruling Orion, we’ll have to get used to spending time apart.”

“Well,” Silas said, letting a tentacle snake around Lex’s waist. “What if I move closer to you and your family when this is over? I can stay close to you, they can learn to trust me, and everyone can be happy with sharing you.”

“You can’t run Orion from Dionysus.” As he said the words, he understood what Silas was suggesting. “You can’t leave your throne behind. Why would you even say such a thing?”

“Realistically, I don’t see them wanting me to rule anymore. I won’t be able to hide this forever, remember?” He gestured at the tentacles. “I’d rather leave before it’s too late. I thought you’d be happy with the suggestion.”

“I wanted you to leave the throne behind in the past,” he said, looking down at the blanket. “I selfishly wished for it plenty of times when you charged into battle, but Orion needs you. I knew that then, even when it tore me apart, and I’m certain of it now.”
