“Sure, you are. What does it feel like?”

“Overwhelming, in a good way,” he said, trying to word it right while his mind wandered. What would it feel like to press into him with one of these? Two?He pictured Lex sweaty and pinned down by his tentacles while the two of them snaked into his ass.I could get at least three if I’m slow with him. No. Stop it. “I think you should go back to the blanket until I shift back.”

“Come lay with me,” Lex said, lacing his hands in his and leading him to the blanket. “Let’s explore these new sensitivities we’ve discovered.”

“What? What do you mean?” He was too shocked to do anything except follow Lex.

“Do you not want to?” he asked with a sly smile. “Judging by those dirty thoughts, you want a lot from me. Your thoughts are louder in this state. You keep spilling into my head.” He roughly shoved Silas down on the blanket so he wasflat on his back. “For the record, judging by the width, no more than one tentacle is going in my ass for now. We can discuss two another night. I could be swayed to three on special occasions. Maybe your birthday.”

He swallowed as Lex straddled him. “I want you, but...” His mind trailed off as Lex ran his hands over his chest.

“Silas, I’m starved. Are you really going to deprive me?”

“No. Of course not.” He clenched his hands at his sides so he didn’t touch him. “Are you sure you want me like this? I can hide them away. At the very least, I can change my eyes back.”

“I want to learn how to please you this way.” Lex untied his robe and tossed it aside. “I want to bite you, and I want you to use your tentacles on me.”

A growl slipped out as Silas drank in his body, but he refrained from moving. “I don’t want to hurt you. I’m not myself. I think my sex drive is...different, and you’re fragile.” Lex’s gentle hand caressed his face.

“You’ve been told you’re dangerous by a lot of people, but you aren’t. You’re not going to hurt me.” Lex looked up at the trembling tentacles above him and held out an inviting hand. “I know you. You won’t hurt me because you don’t want to. That’s that.”

I won’t hurt him. I won’t because I don’t want to. It’ll be fine.He said it to himself over and over as he slowly eased a tentacle down to Lex. His hesitation showed through its timid movements as it curled around his good wrist. He wasn’t confident enough to grip the bandaged one.

Lex smiled down at it lovingly, like it was a small pet snake. “I’m going to touch you. Just enjoy yourself.”

Silas growled as Lex used his other hand to start lightly tracing along the underside with two fingers. Subtle waves of pleasure washed over him, and he lifted his hips in time with each pet. Lex smirked mischievously, and he was instantly suspicious. “What are you doing?”

In response, Lex took the first few inches into his mouth. His supple lips and expert tongue broke down all of Silas's defenses.

His tentacle on Lex’s wrist yanked him down, so they were chest to chest. He wrapped his arms around him. “Mine,” Silas growled, then got a hold of himself. “Fuck. I didn’t mean to do that.”

Lips crashed onto his. Lex’s kiss was rough and wanting, his hands tangled in his hair. Silas couldn’t deny him, even if he wanted to. Lost in their kiss, his tentacles moved instinctually. They slithered over Lex’s skin, which was hot under his touch. Lex’s steady heartbeat thumped behind his own ribs.

He’s not afraid. He’s not running.

For the first time, his mother’s voice about how he’d end up alone and his werewolf parents saying he was cursed quieted.

Maybe they were all wrong. Because Lex is here, and he’s kissing me, and he’s not afraid. If someone so precious loves me, maybe I’m not a monster after all.
