His eyes took on an amber glow as he said, “You are clearly very short sighted.” A spark came out of his hands and lit Alpha Roberts pants on fire. He immediately ripped them off. Oscar said, “I’m a royal fire Fae by the way. You REALLY should’ve asked Alpha Chase over there for a rule about my powers.”

Alpha Roberts growled, “You can’t beat with your fists, so you resort to fairy tricks!” Oscar laughed, “Come at me then, Alpha Roberts. Because not only are you wrong, but you’re also dead wrong. Shouting at the top of your voice in a room of people who could’ve heard you if you whispered.” Alpha Roberts charged Oscar. Jenna snarled trying to break free of Matt’s hold.

Oscar dodged Alpha Roberts. He observed him for several moments blocking every shot that came at him. Matt linked me, “Son of a bitch! He can actually fight! When did that happen?” I replied, “Evidently, he can. Fairies are instinctually good at fighting. Maybe he tried to control his powers by learning karate or something.”

The whole pack was engrossed in this fight. Oscar practically juked Alpha Roberts out of his shoes. Then he punched Alpha Roberts in the face and the kidney. Followed by a kick to the inside of his knee. Alpha Roberts howled in pain.

My dad linked me, “He hurt that knee and it never healed right.” I replied, “That’s what Oscar was watching him for. He was studying his vulnerabilities in how he carried himself while he blocked all Alpha Roberts attacks.”

Oscar leaned down saying, “You don’t have to be the strongest person in the fight, Alpha Roberts. You can outsmart your opponent too. You saw me as weak, and you don’t know anything about me. I do not stand for people disrespecting my Jenna. Feel free to spread that around. I’m a tenth degree Judo black belt. I’m also a bit of a fire starter.” Alpha Roberts glared at Oscar with hatred but said, “I concede the fight.”

I stepped in and said, “Oscar is the winner of this challenge.” I linked Derrick and Matt, “This is a good day for our pack.” Oscar chanted in Fealish. I sighed while my dad snorted. I said, “I thought we’d get out of this without fairy fuckery.” Oscar snorted, “You don’t know me very well.”

I turned back around to see Alpha Roberts surrounded by a ring of fire. He tried to jump over it, but it moved with him. I was trying not to laugh. The fire wasn’t burning anything including Alpha Roberts. He just couldn’t get out of it.

After several minutes I said, “Oscar, I do need to get them back on their way home.” Oscar sighed and chanted. He looked at Alpha Roberts, “The Beta here is my brother now. Fuck with him, and you fuck with me. Fuck with me, and you fuck with the King of Faerie, my cousin. Watch yourself.” He popped to Jenna, grabbed her, stuck his tongue out at the three visiting Alpha’s, and popped away.

Derrick said, “He just stuck his tongue out.” I responded, “I saw him.” I asked, “Can we get back to my office now?” All three visiting Alpha’s nodded. We turned and left. I nodded reassuringly to Matt. I led everyone back to my office minus Kincade and my dad.

I linked him, “Where did you go?” My dad replied, “To make sure Lexi is ok.” I said, “Thanks.” The pack doctor must have reset Alpha Boudreaux’s shoulder because it was back in place. I said, “Now that you’ve all had your asses handed to you, fairly embarrassingly and with ease, by my pack. Are there any more issues you have?”

Heath looked at his watch. He snorted, “You have thirty seconds before all hell breaks loose.” Alpha Sail asked, “What?” My dad linked me, “Ummm Lexi is on the way and she’s angry. Talking about sinking arrows into people’s heart’s angry.”

My office door burst open and I couldn’t help but smile. She looked incredibly angry, but she also looked incredibly beautiful. There was a face off, but then they growled at Lexi. Bolt snarled, “Hell no. They are about to be challenged by us. We’ll take their damn packs from them. Thor has to know some Alpha’s in Louisiana who aren’t as obnoxious as them.”

Lexi told them to leave in a very insulting way. I turned to face Heath whose expression said, ‘I told you so.’ My dad and Cameron strode into the room. My dad linked, “Damn. She’s so fast.” I replied, “I know she is. When she wants to, she can move.” Cameron said, “I leave for a few hours and miss challenges galore AND a pregnant Lexi going off. Our new pack house needs to get done. I’m missing all the fun.” I said, “I agree you are missing all the fun.” Cameron sighed at me.

Lexi grabbed the paperwork off my desk and threw it. I frowned. When did that get there? I picked up a few of the papers off the ground then growled. My dad linked, “What is it?” I answered, “Paperwork to remove Matt and his family from their rank as Beta to Omega.” My dad scoffed, “Are you joking?” I ground out, “No.” I linked Derrick, “Get to my damn office and collect this paperwork. We are going to file a complaint with the council.” Derrick responded, “On the way.”

I linked Eric, “Are you here by chance? We might need you and your wife. Lexi is VERY angry.” Eric answered, “Popping to you now.” They were in my office seconds later. Lexi was entirely too happy about it. Eric linked me, “Something bad is about to happen to them.” I warned him, “They want to be your ally.” Eric replied, “I’m aware. They have been requesting so for years. The answer is always no.”

I told him, “They were planning to come to you next.” Eric chuckled, “That would not have gone well for them.” I admitted, “I’m not surprised and I said as much.” Haley matched Lexi in her anger, then she chanted quickly in Fealish. I watched in astonishment as all three men grew boobs and grabbed their guts.

My dad linked me, “Did she just give them a period? Can she do that?” I admitted, “I don’t know. I’ve stopped thinking she can’t do things.” Haley popped them away. I said, “I dislike that.” Heath chuckled, “Get used to it. They do that a lot.”

Eric said, “I heard all members of your pack won their challenges.” I questioned, “Do you have a hidden camera around here?” Eric laughed, “Javi has been in the area most of the day in case Haley popped over to help set up. It was not necessary as it turns out because my Angel had Valentine's Day plans all day long. I’ll have Bexley pop those Alpha’s back so they have to drive home. They will have to go through my area and I’ll see that they are detained.” Fine by me.

I admitted, “I wish Lexi would’ve asked for Haley’s help. She hurt her back.” Eric sighed, “Our mates are stubborn.” Lexi was laughing hysterically when they came back. I linked Eric, “A hormone Dragon? Where does she come up with this shit?” Eric said, “I’m positive Astrid didn’t say it that way, so I have no earthly idea.” Haley popped Lexi to Ted.

She popped back then snapped me, my dad, Heath, and Cameron into our suits. She told us, “Ted looks fucking awesome!” Derrick walked in and gathered up the paperwork. He growled, “Are they fucking joking with this shit?” I answered, “No, we will lodge a complaint with the council. Let’s get Matt and Ted married.”

Derrick admitted, “I just linked Sally to give us a minute. Alpha Lucas and Emmaline just popped in. She’s frantic and was almost crying so I told her it was fine we had a delay anyway. It calmed her down and I swear to you Alpha Lucas wanted to kiss me.” Eric laughed.

Haley said, “I’ll go handle my cousin's worries and hormones. It’s just the babies. Water fairies are more emotional during pregnancy than any other Fae. Watch it or I’ll make you all ride the damn hormone dragon too.” She popped out.

Derrick asked, “The what dragon? Does she know a dragon?” I said, “No, and don’t ask.” We all walked out and met Matt at the venue. He asked, “What’s going on?” I said, “You’re getting married and on top of our pack kicking their ass, Haley gave them boobs and cramps.” Matt burst out laughing. He said, “I love her.” I questioned, “Who doesn’t? Let’s get you married.”

We walked in and waited for only a few seconds before Sally came in followed by Lexi. I couldn’t take my eyes off her. She was stunning. Dr. April linked me, “I want her off her feet as much as possible.” I admitted, “I was going to dance with her.” Dr. April agreed, “One or two dances with breaks are allowed.” I said, “I can live with that.”

Luckily, I knew this ceremony by heart. I linked my dad, “You’ve lost your bet with Heath.” My dad replied, “Until the date is on a save the date, I still have hope.” I snorted. Lexi’s face was a little strained. I knew her back was hurting her, but she stuck it out. I should've had a chair put up here for her.

Haley popped up to heal Ted after the blood sharing portion. That was so handy, and I was glad she was going to do it for Lexi too. I knew I didn’t even have to ask. She’d just do it like she’d done for Ted. She was an oxymoron wrapped in contradictions. Fairies would usually hold something over your head to perform things like healing. Haley just did it without being asked. It was very un-fairy like of her.

After the ceremony and we done taking pictures, Ted linked me, “Don’t worry, we are back on track with the timeline now. She will relax. The timeline stops after the dances for party time.” I replied, “That’s good. I don’t want her to stress, or you for that matter.”

Matt and Ted did their couple dance, then danced with their moms. They also danced with Joanie. Lexi had tears streaming down her face, and so did Sally and Emmaline. At least she hadn’t turned to water. They must be happy tears this time. I shot a wink at Lexi and got up to get some water.

Eric joined me with Alpha Lucas. Eric asked, “So, are we at war with Louisiana?” I snorted, “Almost but no.” I thought about it then added, “You might want to be at war though when you hear what happened.”
