He wiped her tears away. She took him seriously, “That would be better.” Eric said, “Duly noted. Don’t tell our pups to keep me away from you.” Haley frowned saying, “I didn’t say that.” Eric snorted, “That’s semantics, my sweet Angel.”

Emmaline popped in. She gaped, “Does Haley have WINGS?” Dylan answered, “Yes! My super special fun sized ninja fairy goddess has wings. She drank so much Red Bull they just POPPED out. Who introduced her to Red Bull? I’m so glad you asked. Who's to say?” Beta Dylan then whispered, “It was me.” I laughed.

Emmaline said, “Right. Someone’s going to have to break this down for me later and tell me how I get mine. Dylan, we have to go because Lacy needs you. Baby Boy Frost is coming.” Dylan excitedly yelled, “BABY BOY FROST? THAT’S THE COOLEST NAME EVER! Does anyone want to bet if I can get Lacy to name our pup that? He sounds like a superhero!” Emmaline rolled her eyes and grabbed him. She popped both of them out.

Haley argued with Eric, “I told the triplets to take you somewhere safe.” Eric retorted, “Somewhere I couldn’t get back here from.” Haley asked, “How would you fucking know? YOU WERE ALMOST DEAD!” Eric snorted, “Harper told me you said to take me out of the action.”

Haley snapped her fingers saying, “See? That fucking proves I didn’t say a single damn word about them keeping you away from me.” Eric pushed her hair out of her face. He reiterated, “Again my little fairy Hackura with your beautiful wings, that’s semantics.”

Haley shot back, “You’d have done the same thing! If you’d heard me get shot and I said goodbye to you! I just needed you to be safe. Somewhere you couldn’t get fucking shot again.” Eric kissed her. Matt said, “Damn, he can kiss.” I rolled my eyes.

Eric pulled back and put his forehead on hers. He said, “I need to be where you are. If you go into battle, my Angel, I need to be by your side.” Haley sighed, “Then don’t get shot and it wasn’t much of a fucking battle.” Eric smirked, “All the same. We jump realities together, you are mine no matter the reality, time, or place. If you walk into battle I walk by your side. We will have ourselves a chat about your saying your life means nothing later.”

Haley begrudgingly agreed, “Ok but technically speaking I didn’t walk. I ran into this fight.” He held onto her until her eyes returned to their natural state. Haley asked, “Aiden, how do I hide these? I can hide them, right?” Aiden laughed, “You can’t at the moment, but tomorrow I’ll come show you how.”

Haley said, “It’d better fucking be before tomorrow night! TeleTed and Beta Matt’s wedding is tomorrow, and its Valentine’s Day!” Aiden laughed, “Is this a google holiday, little sister?” Haley clapped, “YES! There’s candy, flowers, teddy bears, and all kinds of things for Valentine’s Day. It’s very pink and red themed. I love this one.” Aiden laughed, “I don’t even feel sorry for you, brother in law of mine.”

Eric kissed her forehead, “I’ve been preparing myself since she told me she knew what Valentine’s Day was.” Haley smiled, “Mrs. Blanch is helping me make the cookies!” Alpha Jackson asked, “What kind of cookies?” Haley answered, “Sugar cookies. They are Eric’s favorite.” Alpha Jackson said, “I’m going to start throwing out some of my favorite things.” Haley gasped, “Hey! I got each and every fucking one you a have a happy Valentine’s Day gift. Thank me later.” All the guys laughed.

Matt linked me, “What does that mean?” I replied, “No clue.” Aiden took her hands and they spoke in Fealish. The area around us began to repair itself. It looked like little shards flying back through time to put everything as it was. I breathed a sigh in relief. Housing would have been a bitch and a half to figure out. With the destruction we’d lost all the houses.

Matt linked me, “Thank god they can do that.” I said, “Eric would’ve had to host us with Cameron.” Matt agreed, “Yes he would’ve.” The fairy siblings dropped their hands. Haley hugged Aiden and spoke to him in Fealish. He hugged her back.

Her Hackura family came up to her and she turned red. She whispered, “I’m sorry Daddy.” He hugged her, “I could feel how angry you were, Princess. You couldn’t shut it off, it’s not your fault.” All the Princes’ rolled their eyes behind their dad’s back.

Prince Logan whispered, “I’m Haley, Daddy’s little Princess. I get away with everything.” Veronica swatted him smiling. Haley gave everyone hugs. Eric encouraged, “Let’s go home, Angel.” Haley groaned, “Shit. I promised Chelsea and Sam, I’d take them home so EJ and Elise could play. Come on Red Run wolves. I’ll pop you all home then bring Chelsea and Sam to you.”

Aiden bit his lip then grinned mischievously. He chuckled, “Have fun little sister.” She tilted her head, “Sure, baby play dates are a fucking blast.” She popped away and Aiden started laughing. He looked at the Hackura, “You have ten minutes to get somewhere before you feel her stronger than you felt her on her concupiscence.”

Astrid happily asked, “Oh really? That was a wild ride.” Aiden replied, “Yes, ancient fairy power unlocked and all. The earth calls out as does the sky. I’d imagine that the Red Run pack will go into heat like her wolf’s pack did previously.” Matt snorted, “I guess they won’t make the wedding then.” Aiden disagreed, “It’s not a normal wolf heat. They should all be back to normal by your wedding. Probably mid-afternoon tomorrow.”

Prince Bjourn said, “Well, I’d better get my prize home then so I can be ready for this.” He pulled out a machete. I linked Derrick, “Where the hell did, he get that?” Derrick said, “I do not know and it’s slightly terrifying.” Prince Bjourn quickly got the warlock that shot Eric cut down from the branches binding him. He threw him over his shoulder and opened a portal. All of the Hackura went through quickly and it closed behind them.

Derrick asked, “Umm how do we get OUR mates back?” I said, “That’s an excellent question.” Alpha Lucas answered, “Emmaline can bring them all back. She’s popping Dylan and Lacy to our OB then she can bring everyone back here.”

I yelled, “Oh my god! Sophia!” I turned frantically looking for her. She waved, “Yes?” I asked, “Did Eddie attack your pack?” Sophia shook her head, “No, but we are still on alert. We got a group of rogues, but that’s it.” I ordered, “Kincade, send five of our warriors’ home with her. I don’t want to be caught unaware if Eddie comes for her tonight.”

Alpha Jackson agreed, “We will send some as well. We can get word to everyone else except Red Run if you are attacked tonight.” Sophia admitted, “It doesn’t feel right. Eddie may be working with them, but he’s been very smart so far. I’d say he’s smarter than Hammond and Hanson.” I nodded agreeing with her.

I walked over to Noah. I questioned, “Oscar, can you get him down?” Oscar answered, “Yes.” Matt chuckled, “Will you?” Oscar winked at him then snapped his fingers and Noah fell to the ground and screamed in pain.

I turned to Derrick ordering, “Get someone to sedate Denise.” He nodded. I didn’t think hearing her son's screams would do anything good for her mental state. I grabbed Noah by the neck, “Is Eddie attacking Sophia tonight?”

Emmaline popped in with Lexi, Sally, Ted, Allie, and Nadine. I stalled, “Wait! Where did Susie get popped to?” Nadine answered, “She’s in the safe room.” My dad called, “She’s right here.” I turned spotting them both. My dad had Susie now. Nadine ran to her.

I looked over Lexi then did a double take. All the girls were in formal dresses. That made sense, since Haley was in a long pink dress too. Matt linked me, “Focus, Chase.” I turned back demanding, “Answer me, Noah.” Noah said, “Yes, he is.”

Emmaline announced, “He’s lying.” Noah shouted, “FUCK YOU, FAIRY!” He was stabbed with three icicles in his arms. Emmaline ground out, “Watch it, Troll! Haley told me ALL about you and the things you did to my friends. You didn’t see the pain she was in. Her soul….” Emmaline trailed off.

She popped in front of Noah and placed her hands on him. Alpha Lucas yelled, “EMMALINE, WAIT! WE NEED TO TALK TO HIM!” Emmaline’s hands were glowing blue. Noah began to cough and sputter. I let him go but he continued to be unable to breathe.

Emmaline answered my unspoken question. She explained, “He’s drowning to a degree. He won’t actually die. I told my light I didn’t want him to. I just wanted him to understand what he did to Haley’s soul.” Alpha Lucas came up and wrapped his arms around Emmaline.

Emmaline turned to Aiden wanting answers, “Does Lucas have to go through what Eric did for me to get wings? I don’t want them if that’s the case.” Aiden replied, “No, had you unlocked them before Haley you would have to go through the devastation she did. I’ll be keeping an eye on all my partial cousins for now. Bexley will have heard the rumors so if she starts to feel her wings trying to emerge, she will understand what to do. Partial fairies will need help and instruction.”

He looked at me and Alpha Lucas, “If your partial Fae’s are in pain for no reason you can see, call me. I will come.” I looked at Oscar then back to Aiden. I questioned, “Excuse me, Are you saying…? HE COULD GET WINGS?” Aiden smiled, “I am of the royal fire, earth, and sky houses. Oscar is of the royal fire house. Now that both Haley and I have unlocked our wings our family can too. Not all will, but I have underestimated the partial Fae’s for the last time. Should they be in unexplainable pain, call me.”

I linked Matt, “Holy mother fucking shit.” Matt said, “He HAS to get wings. He calls me Mattie therefore I’m owed seeing cool ass fire wings for that detail alone.” I rolled my eyes.
