Aiden grabbed Haley by the wrist. He ordered, “Look at me, little sister!” After several moments of death glares she aimed at Noah she listened to her brother. He emphatically stated, “Your life was NEVER nothing. What Fabian said to you may have been his truth, but that does not make it true. Your life matters to me, your family, your children, and most certainly your wolf. I know you are hurting right now, but do not say things like that. It hurts me that you even thought that for one second. No one’s life is nothing. Even your Troll over there.”

She dropped her head into Aiden’s chest and sobbed. She kept saying, “He was almost taken from me. It hurts, Aiden. Everything hurts. It feels like I’m on fucking fire, burning up on the inside.” Aiden rubbed her head, “I know. I know it does. Shh, little sister. Your wolf is fine. Just let it out and it will stop hurting so much.”

A few seconds later I was convinced Noah was just as crazy as his father. He drew Haley’s attention back to him. He hissed, “I’ll find a way to kill your precious wolf. I’ll make you, Lexi, and Sally watch. ALL you bitches WILL watch as your wolves die! Then I’ll watch Lexi sob as YOU die!” I growled and so did every other wolf here.

I wished that damn force field would come down because I’d rip Noah to pieces. Aiden sighed, “You’re really a dolt, Troll of my sister’s.” Noah looked Haley in the eyes. He said, “I’ll cut your wolf apart piece by piece. A shot to the chest would’ve been the kindest way for him to die. Now, he will suffer levels of hell you can’t imagine.” Everyone growled.

Alpha Jackson was edging closer to the force field. I linked him, “It’s no use.” Alpha Jackson replied, “That’s my brother he almost got killed that he’s talking about.” I argued, “It’s my Gamma, his mate, and my mate that he’s talking about too. I understand but if you get hurt, she will feel awful.” Alpha Jackson sighed and walked back over to me.

Haley yelled at Noah, “I CAN’T IMAGINE? Are you serious? Is he fucking serious, brother? I LIVED in a worse fucking hell than YOU could ever imagine even in your warped twisted fucking Troll mind!” Aiden said, “He does appear to be serious. Quite possibly insane, but your Troll does appear to be quite serious.”

Haley turned back around to face Noah. She said, “You’ll NEVER kill my husband you FUCKING TROLL!” Jackson tried to calm her down. He said, “Haley, he can’t take Eric out. Eric is MUCH smarter than him.”

Noah proudly stated, “I almost did though, didn’t I? The great Alpha Eric Conners almost died right over there.” He pointed over where we’d taken cover. He laughed, “His blood is still on the ground you stupid bitch!” He laughed at Haley.

Aiden said, “So not only are you insane. You’re a complete and utter idiot, who apparently likes pain. So, a masochist to boot. Do us all a favor and cease speaking, Noah Calvert.” It was quite clear Noah wasn’t going to listen to Aiden. Haley screamed, “HIS NAME IS THE FUCKING TROLL!”

My eyes widened as Haley started physically shaking. Rain began to fall. The light rain quickly turned to pouring buckets. Multiple tornados appeared all over the territory, wreaking havoc on everything except the people. Somehow it didn’t touch us.

Noah paid all the signs that Haley couldn’t take his shit anymore no attention. He said, “I’ll cut your precious Alpha Eric’s tongue out, so you won’t get a damn goodbye this time! You’ll hear him make agonizing noises for months while you can’t save him! I’ll flood your system with iron daily so you can sit and watch him suffer.”

Aiden turned to us and said, “Get ready to be amazed. My sister’s Troll is none too wise.” The circle of fire died around them from the rain. A bolt of lightning hit the force field and it sounded like glass shattering. Haley shouted, “KILL MY HUSBAND?! MY HUSBAND? I WILL MAKE YOU FUCKING BEG BEFORE I GIVE YOU DEATH!”

Then Haley screamed as if she was in pain and her Hackura brothers ran for her. Aiden knelt beside her. He pleaded, “Haley, let go! Just let go!” Matt bewilderedly asked, “Let go of what? Her tornadoes are let go! There goes all the houses. Just gone. They can unfuck this cluster tornado storm, right?”

Haley wailed, “He said goodbye to me, Aiden!” Aiden consoled her, “I know he did. Haley, just stop trying to put a lid on your emotions. Let them all go and it will stop hurting. Let them consume you.” Bjourn yelled, “WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF ADVICE IS THAT?!” Aiden ignored him.

A tornado consumed Noah. Just like the personal one she had for the man who shot Eric. I heard screaming and I looked over. The man who shot Eric was being pulled in different directions by tree branches. The branches were trying to tear him apart, just stopping short of the point of death. Their actions would be causing him an inordinate amount of pain. Noah was screaming as if he was dying. Blood was shooting out from his personal tornado.

Haley fell to the ground, clearly in pain but we couldn’t see why. Matt linked me, “What the hell? We need to figure out what’s wrong with her before Alpha Eric gets back. He will not like this.” Alpha Jackson was running towards her. I linked him, “What’s wrong?” Alpha Jackson said, “I’d bet some fairy shit!”

Aiden had tears streaming down his face. He begged, “Little sister, please just listen to me. Let everything you feel be felt. Don’t try to control it or push it down.” She looked up at him. The moment she did as he said, her eyes swirled in a combination of colors. They had rings of color in them. Rings of gold, green, blue, and I swore there was a slight pink there too.

He encouraged her, “That’s it Haley, just feel.” She screamed in rage and agony. Marcus had almost reached them. He yelled, “WHAT THE HELL, AIDEN?” Aiden turned, “She’s not in pain now. That’s a scream of how she felt when her wolf almost died. She is fine.”

I turned to Matt, “I think we have a different definition of fine than the fairy’s do.” Matt agreed, “Obviously we do.” Beta Dylan wondrously asked, “Is my super special fun sized ninja fairy goddess becoming an actual HONEST TO GOD GODDESS? PEOPLE! I CAN MAKE THINGS HAPPEN! I SPEAK THEM INTO REALITY! LOOK AT HER!” We all turned and stared in awe.

A light had picked Haley up off the ground. She spun slowly in a circle. Swirls of blue, green, and pink surrounded her. Alpha Jackson questioned, “What the actual fuck?” I blinked asking, “Did….? Are those…? Do I see….?” Dylan squealed, “WINGS? SHE HAS FAIRY WINGS?!” They were enormous blue, green, and pink wings.

Matt’s tone was wondrous, “It’s almost like butterfly wings.” Dylan sang, “On the wings of my goddess, up and above the clouds”. He whispered, “Don’t say things about butterflies to fairies where they can hear you. They don’t like the comparison.” He winked at us.

Dylan picked his singing back up, “The only way to fly, is on the wings of Haley. GAP just doesn’t deserve her. GOD he just became even more of a prick and I’ve lost status to go up. NO, NO, he’s now SAINT God Alpha Prick. He’s reached sainthood people. I’m going to have to make up other levels for him I can feel it. His Prickishness knows no bounds.”

Aiden smiled and teased his sister, “You would get pink into your wings, little sister. You are pure of heart though, so I suppose our Fairy Goddess has a soft spot for you. Fairy wings are supposed to reflect the elements of our nature. Yours should be just sky and earth wings. Yours are mostly pink with touches of other colors. They are quite stunning.”

I asked, “Do all fairy’s get wings?” Haley was still spinning in a vortex. Her wings were growing even larger. Aiden chuckled asking, “Do all wolves have the same color of fur as their Alpha?” I answered, “No.” Aiden answered, “Not unlike that, our family can unlock their wings. Obviously, the emotions are different for partial and full blooded fairies. I do not have to be as angry or as devastated as Haley was to unlock my wings. Now that Haley has unlocked hers as the pure of heart, the rest of our family will be able to unlock theirs.”

I shot back, “When do you get yours?” Aiden smirked and closed his eyes. Fire shot out of his back and formed into massive fairy wings. Prince Bjourn questioned, “Did you get yours because she got hers?” Aiden replied, “As I said the emotions are different for me as I am the most powerful fairy alive. I didn’t have to be as devastated as my sister. My wings came out while I was reviewing the notes and ports my uncle had of my sister. They came from my anger.”

Haley was flying around above us in the rain now. She yelled, “Holy fucking shit. AIDEN! I HAVE FUCKING WINGS!” Aiden flew up to her. She squealed, “YOU HAVE FUCKING WINGS?! WHAT IS GOING ON?!” They spoke in rapid Fealish.

The screams of Alpha Eric’s shooter and Noah captured her attention again. Her eyes went back to gold, green, blue, and the hint of pink swirls. Aiden flew back down to the ground, but Haley flew higher into the air. She brought down lightning and struck both men repeatedly.

I wondered aloud, “How aren’t they dead?” Aiden explained, “Because Haley doesn’t want them to die yet, and her light knows that. Haley and her light are more in tune than they ever have been before now.” I threw out my question, “Can you stop her before my territory is destroyed?”

Matt said, “You asked that question FAR too late.” Aiden laughed. Beta Dylan chimed in, “It’s not his fault, Beta Mattie. Alpha’s just don’t ask the right questions. It is why they have us. To ask the right questions. It’s a blessing and a curse.” Prince Harper said, “I’ll get Gunner to track Eric down.” Alpha Jackson muttered, “Thank god. I need to see him.” Darrin agreed, “All of us do, brother.” Torvi commented, “Her wings are beautiful.”

Alpha Jackson asked, “Can she make hers disappear like you do, Aiden? If she can’t then she’s not going to be able to pop around in this realm.” Aiden responded, “Of course she can make them disappear like I can. She won’t be able to do that until tomorrow though. I’ll come to her and help her in the afternoon.”
