I heard another pop. Aiden said, “I don’t even have to look. Hello Nephew of mine. Alexander, this time, and quite possibly just this once, this was not your mommy’s fault. You just have to give her time.” Alexander popped from Aiden’s arms to Haley’s chest. He began to try to heal her.

Aiden sighed, “Your children are SO Alpha wolves with their stubborn streak. He can’t bring her back sooner.” Eric warned, “Don’t doubt the things my pups can do.” Aiden amended, “Fine. She’s going to be out for AT LEAST an hour and now Alexander's out.” Eric growled, “What’s wrong with him?”

Aiden sighed, “He spent up his healing power. Haley may very well wake up sooner, but that magic is designed to knock us out for at least a few hours.” Eric questioned, “So I just need to kill all the demons and goblins. Is that what we are saying? They have the dumb knife and this spell.” Dylan whispered, “Kill the rogues in Blue Moon first. It’s a much easier task than killing a whole other realm.”

Aiden said, “You need to kill anyone dumb enough to agree to sell their soul to a demon for things that can harm Haley or I. The goblins sold the spell to them, obviously. They didn’t have it, but the magic told me it was also demons.” Titus asked, “She is fine though, correct?” Aiden answered, “Yes, King Titus, Haley is fine.”

I threw out a solution, “Can the healing waters help her?” Everyone turned to me. I asked, “What? They helped Emmaline and me. Why not her?” Aiden explained, “It’s not a physical wound. Prince Logan’s mate might be able to do something, but I doubt it.”

A portal immediately opened, and Katie stepped through with her infant son. Behind her was Logan with Emmett and Frank with Emma. Logan’s older son was walking behind them with a lollipop. I walked over and slapped Frank’s arm.

I said, “A link saying hey the kids and I are going to the Hackura realm, just so I don’t lose my mind would be nice.” Frank replied, “It was uh not exactly an option. I was thrown through a portal. Then I had tea with an actual Queen. It was surreal, on so many levels. She acted like we were friends for being ships passing through in the night taking care of the pups while you were on your date. We basically said hi to each other and I made myself scarce. Now, we’ve had tea.”

I hugged Emmett whispering, “You’re both safe. I’m not listening to the crazy man’s speech.” Chase came over and hugged us all. Cameron was waiting when our hug ended. He wrapped me up in a hug. He said, “Thank you for asking about Reagan.” I said, “Hey, I’ve got the back of all my future in-laws.”

I looked around then asked, “She is in the safe room, right?” Frank answered, “With Nadine and Susie. Nadine is PISSED I went to the Hackura realm without her. Maybe we keep the whole tea with the Queen amongst ourselves.”

Nadine yelled, “TOO LATE FRANK DANIELS! DOGHOUSE! YOU! IN IT!” Frank groaned, “Damn. Hey guys, I need Emmett and Emma back. She can’t hit me if I have them.” I snorted and handed Emmett back to him. He went off to try to appease Nadine.

I turned asking “How could a demon/goblin spell be like a cyanide cap? He basically had a pill in his tooth or something.” Aiden explained, “It would be because he lost a tooth. The demon’s would put the goblin spell in his mouth in the shape of a tooth. All he had to do was crush it to release the spell to incapacitate Haley. I’m honestly surprised there isn’t a demon around to try to take her.”

Alpha Jackson called, “Like this one?” Eric whirled, handed Haley and Alexander to Bjourn and Titus. He ran to his brother, who had seen better days. I gasped seeing who was beside Jackson. I yelled, “Someone get me my clothes for Molly.” Ted zipped inside and came back out with my leggings and shirt for Molly to wear. I’d have said clothes around us, but Alpha Jackson probably would’ve lost his shit about the fact that she’d smell like a guy if she was handed any random clothes.

Molly and Jackson had been in one hell of a fight. Marcus came up behind them. Bjourn questioned, “Brother?” Marcus explained, “We got tied up with a contingent of demons.” Alpha Jackson said, “I have never been happier you were on our side. Marcus took on most of them, and barely got a scratch.”

Eric sounded annoyed, “Why didn’t you link me?” Alpha Jackson retorted, “I was busy not dying.” He threw the demon he had at Eric. Ted nudged me, muttering, “It’s weird how they can look like normal people until they want to show their true faces.” I agreed, “True. We should pose as demons sometime.” Ted laughed, “That could be fun.”

Matt loudly said, “Absolutely not, you two.” I sighed, “Wolves just don’t know how to have fun.” Suddenly Matt tackled Ted to the ground. Before I could ask Derrick and Uther had me on the ground. I saw a man tackle Eric. I recognized his guard. DAMN! He got Dawson as a guard? Haley was not playing around. I saw Chase get taken down too.

Uther had rolled off me and drawn a weapon. I exhaled, “Derrick, you weigh a ton. Is there any chance you could get off of me?” Chase growled, “STAY DOWN!” Sharon popped back, “Relax. I got the demon shooter for you.” Oscar chuckled, “With an assist.” Jenna growled, “Oscar! I said stay right there!” Oscar said, “My Jenna dear, I’m not a dog. I do not simply stay where I’m told to. It’s quite boring. Plus, nothing gets people moving like lighting a fire under their ass. It’s comical. It’s only fair to fight demons with fire.”

Beta Dylan squealed, “I love him. Can we keep him, Lucas? PLEASEEEE!” Jenna growled. Chase proudly stated, “He’s taken, Beta Dylan.” Beta Dylan sighed, “Oh fine. Keep him, Alpha Baby Daddy. I need more partial fairies. They give me such life!”

Alpha Lucas rolled his eyes, “I think our fairy keeps up perfectly occupied.” Beta Dylan gasped, “Noo! No, I need more. A fire one. So then we’d have a fire fairy and water fairy. HOW AMAZING WOULD THEIR TRAINING BE? I’m here for it. Oscar, are there more of you?” Oscar laughed, “Do you mean do I have brothers and sisters? I do not know. Not yet.” Aiden said, “I am looking into it. I have a few leads.”

Beta Dylan jumped up and down screaming, “PICK ME! ME! I WILL TRACK DOWN YOUR LEADS! PLEEEEASE! I volunteer the partial fire fairy Oscar and myself to track down leads of his siblings’ mission.” Oscar laughed, “I would be happy to help and pop around with Beta Dylan and my Jenna.” Aiden agreed, “If you’d like to Oscar. I can split the leads with you.” Oscar replied, “I’d love to!”

Beta Dylan was now hopping around Alpha Lucas in a circle pleading, “PLEASE LUCAS! DON’T RUIN THIS FOR ME!” Alpha Lucas told him, “ONE day. You can go with him for ONE DAY!” Alpha Eric greeted, “Dawson.” Dawson replied smiling, “Prince Alpha Eric.” Eric growled. Dawson said, “I was explicitly told that you do not get fucking shot again. That’s a direct quote.” Eric sighed, “Of course it is.”

Chase grumbled, “I got tackled too if that makes you feel better, Eric.” I turned to see who had tackled Chase. I gaped, “Youngers?” Youngers smiled, “Lexi Scott.” Then I yelled, “TATE?!” I’d forgotten Heath said he was standing guard. Ted yelled, “TATE!” He zipped up and ran to check on his brother.

Tate dusted off his pants, “I’m fine. Fast reflexes your wolf has there, little brother. Zeke didn’t get to you first. It’s impressive, Matt.” Beta Dylan cleared his throat, “Umm excuse you. His name is Beta Mattie. I got you partial fairy new friend Oscar.” Oscar smirked. Tate frowned asking, “You go by Mattie? Sorry man, I had no idea.” Matt growled, “It’s just Matt. Those two think they are funny.”

Beta Dylan scoffed, “Think? I THINK I’m funny? LUCAS!” Alpha Lucas tried to placate him, “He didn’t mean it like that, Dylan.” Beta Dylan pouted, “Betta Mattie, I’m so hurt. In fact….” He took out his phone and typed furiously. He smirked while holding up his phone. Matt's phone dinged along with Beta McAlister’s. Beta McAlister howled with laughter.

Matt looked up and yelled, “YOU SENT A MEMO SAYING I’M BETA MATTIE TO EVERYONE THAT ATTENDED THE LAST SUMMIT?!” My jaw dropped. Chase linked me, “Say something to make me not laugh.” I replied, “We aren’t having sex for a year.” Chase growled, “WHAT?! WHY?” I teased, “You said to say something that wouldn’t make you laugh. You didn’t say it had to be true.” Chase gave me a heated glance so I gave him one back.

He growled in our link, “Stop looking at me like that or I’ll throw you over my shoulder and take you inside.” I winked at him replying, “You’re only my fiancé for a little bit longer. That does need to be celebrated more than we’ve been able to.” Chase growled, “We have a demon to interrogate.” I pointed out, “Eric does. I don’t think he has the information we wanted to know. The guy we wanted to tell us things from offed himself.”

Chase commented, “Something that greatly upset King Titus.” I said, “I’m sure he had very scary plans for him.” Chase agreed, “I’m betting you’re right.” I joked, “Maybe I should bet your dad about that. He seems to take sucker bets.” I laughed. Chase shook his head, “Not even my dad would take a bet on that one.” I said, “I could try.”

I linked Frank, “I bet Titus had plans for Hanson. Wanna put twenty against it?” Frank raised an eyebrow at me asking, “Do I look like a crazy person to you, Lexi Scott? Hell no.” I smiled. I linked Chase, “You were right. He won’t take that action.” Chase smirked, “Told ya so.”

Alpha Kyle held out a hand to Eric offering, “You can borrow our fairy ride home since…. well... yeah…” Beta Dylan filled in, “Since some weird soul selling demon goblin magic has briefly knocked out our special fun sized fairy ninja goddess is what Alpha Kyle means.” Alpha Lucas said, “We all knew what he meant, Dylan.” Beta Dylan tisked his tongue, “It needed to be stated, Lucas. I’m just here to help the Alpha’s out.” Eric said, “Thank you Alpha Kyle, but I’ll be going with my in-laws.” Portaling. Good choice.

Chase linked me, “Sometimes I think that man has a death wish.” I replied, “Sometimes I agree. You should’ve seen him on New Year’s.” Chase said, “I heard he was living his best life with the group chat.” I said, “He was on his phone for a while. It must have died because after my chat with the Hackura Prince’s, he wasn’t on it anymore after that. Did you know Beta McAlister was there? I didn’t know that was him until today.”

Chase looked at Beta McAlister then back to me. He said, “You're sure he was there?” I nodded, “He was definitely there for the second half of the evening.” Chase glanced at Matt. He told me, “I’ll ask Matt, he’ll know why. They had a group chat going about it. He probably wanted in on the action and he has a fairy in his pack that could take him.” I shrugged because it didn’t really matter to me and that’s what I’d thought happened.
