I laughed for a few minutes before I called Ted into my office so he could read the note. He laughed, “Oh goddess above she’s discovered Pinterest! I will hug her cousin when I meet her. This is amazing. Open them!”

I opened the zipper of the first one and gasped. I didn’t need to unzip the other two yet. I was wearing this one tonight. Ted put his hand on the dress, “This is beautiful, and it will look amazing on you.” I couldn’t help but agree. It was a nude mermaid style dress with white lace, a plunging neckline and spaghetti straps.

Ted helped me get into it then he fixed my hair and makeup. He stepped back and smiled, “Your Alpha wolf won’t know what hit him. Are you meeting there?” I nodded, “Kincade and Kevin are driving me and then taking my car home so Chase can drive us back.” Ted bounced up and down, “Girl, consider his socks blown off.”

I heard a choked sound from the door. I turned and spotted Ted’s string. Matt had come to pick up Ted. Matt whistled, “Damn, Lex! Chase is not prepared!” I threatened, “Don’t you dare link him and warn him. Do me a favor and link that to Kevin and Kincade too.” Matt nodded, “They’ve been told. Enjoy your date. Chase is excited.” I smiled admitting, “So am I.”

I went out to the car and slid into the passenger seat. Kevin and Kincade laughed. Kincade surmised, “So this is why our Beta told us we couldn’t tell our Alpha about your outfit.” I nodded, “Let’s get going.” Kincade started the car, “Yes, Luna.” I teased, “Not yet.” Kevin argued, “You will always be the Luna to us Lexi.”

I smiled, “Well let’s get you two in on the ground floor of calling me just Lexi.” Kincade laughed, “You could tell us your moniker like TeleTed did.” I winked, “Good try. I actually go on missions though. I did want to apologize to you two. Chase is sending you two with me on Christmas Eve. I’m so sorry if that messes with your family plans.”

Kevin laughed, “Not at all. You’ve saved us with your mission. Our grandparents will be in town. When they are here, we hear all about how we need to go off in search of our mates.” I admitted, “I always wanted to see how the universe brought my string to me.”

Kincade commented, “We want the same thing with our mates. Obviously, if we get older and haven’t found our mates we will go searching. I don’t actually have a lot of spare time with my position. I’m the Lead Warrior. I train, finalize the schedules with Matt, and make sure we have trainers for those spots. I help with patrols, and I guard our Luna. I’m a busy man.” He really was.

I assured them, “You guys will be the best mates.” They both smiled. Kevin stated, “We plan to be. Our momma raised us right, and our dad was the best example.” That made me really happy for them. My parents were really in love in a crazy way until the day they died. I’d always wanted that, and now I had it. I knew they’d find it too.

We pulled up to the restaurant. Kincade came around and opened my car door while Kevin opened the door to the restaurant. I smiled at them both, “Thank you.” I stepped into the restaurant. Thank god it was classy, since I had dressed in formal attire.

The hostess smiled, “You must be Miss Scott. The Alpha is already waiting at your table. You look beautiful.” I politely replied, “Thank you very much.” She led me around the corner, and I stopped in shock. Chase had had the restaurant filled with red roses. Flower petals were on the ground leading to the main table. There were candles everywhere.

Chase stood to greet me, “Sweetheart, you look stunning.” I smiled at him then asked, “You did all this?” Chase blushed, “My staff did as I asked. Ted said red roses are your favorite.” I nodded, “He’s right. Chase, this…” tears filled my eyes. No one had ever done anything like this for me.

Chase pulled me into him. He lightly kissed my lips. “I don’t know how we are going to make it home. It’s a damn good thing we didn’t agree to meet at your place. This dress gives me ideas.” I smiled, “Haley has discovered Pinterest.” Chase murmured, “Sometimes you just see the hand of the Moon Goddess in your life. I’ll admit I never thought a partial fairy mated to Alpha Eric discovering Pinterest would be that hand, but it is.”

Chase pulled out my chair and we sat down. He handed me the menu. We both ordered the fish dinner meal. He leaned across and took my hand, “I really can’t reiterate how beautiful you look.” I smiled, “Thank you. You look quite handsome yourself.” Chase laughed and we continued talking.

It was the best date of my life. Chase slid his chair around and fed me my desert. I threw in a few moans while I ate. I was holding back laughter as he shifted in his seat. He grabbed my hand the second I finished my last bite. Then he led me out of the door to his car.

He drove like a mad man to my place, throwing my door open and moving at a speed that impressed even me. He had me pinned against the car. He growled, “I can’t stop myself anymore.” His lips crashed into mine for a brief second. Then he disappeared under my dress. He growled when he discovered I wasn’t wearing underwear. Did he think I was? This is a TIGHT dress.

Thoughts were lost to me the second his mouth touched my clit. I moaned, “Chase…” He made me come four times before he came out from under my dress. He picked me up bridal style. I laughed while he ran to my room.

He set me on my feet, and slowly turned me around. He unzipped my dress painfully slowly. He pushed the spaghetti straps off my shoulders. The dress fell to the ground and Chase kissed my back, “No bra either, Sweetheart?” I teased, “You did see the dress, right?” Chase replied, “Yes, I most definitely saw it.”

He turned me around, pushed me back onto the bed, and gently placed himself on top of me. He stared into my eyes saying, “You are so damn beautiful. I don’t deserve you, but you’re mine.” I agreed, “I’m yours.”

He worshipped my body all night long. We fell asleep around three in the morning. I couldn’t believe my string’s idea of a date was shutting down a restaurant and filling it with flowers and candles. He was everything I’d ever wanted. I couldn’t ever let him go because he was mine.

When I woke up, we both dressed quickly. I bumped him with my hip, “I get to go with you today when you go home.” Chase was surprised, “You’re coming to the pack?” I nodded, “I need to help Ted set up. He took our other client set ups last night. So, I can’t leave him with this.”

Chase smiled broadly, “I need to link a few people.” I tapped his nose, “I’ll make breakfast.” I went downstairs and threw some bread into the toaster. I decided to make us pancakes. I pulled everything out and got to work.

When I was done Chase was sitting at the bar watching me with a smile. He told me, “You dance around the kitchen a little bit. Did you know that?” I smiled, “Heath has said that I do that too. I don’t notice it.” Chase got up and kissed my forehead. “Thank you for making breakfast.” I encouraged him, “Try it.” He did then moaned. “This is delicious.” I flipped my hair, “Gotta love traveling and picking up food tips.” Chase asked, “The French chef again?” I nodded, “Yup-p.”

We ate quickly and then ran over to his pack house. Ted was waiting. He smiled, “I’m so glad you came to help.” I responded, “Thanks for taking all the other one’s last night so I could go on my date.” Ted nodded, “Of course! My girl knows I have her back.”

Matt and Chase left us so we could get to work, but Nadine came to joined us. I smiled in greeting, “Good morning, Nadine.” She responded, “Good morning you two. I thought you might be able to use an extra set of hands.” I nodded, “Of course.”

It took until lunch time to get everything done. Nadine smiled brightly, “The pups will just love this.” I couldn’t deny I was excited. I whispered, “I hope they do.” The teachers filtered in and oohed and awed over everything.

Arms encircled me and tingles lit across my skin. I smiled, “Good afternoon, Chase.” Chase kissed my temple, “Do you have time to eat lunch?” I nodded and noticed several people breathe a sigh of relief. We walked up to the house as a large group.

Whoever made lunch thankfully had made sandwiches. I didn’t want to eat a heavy lunch in preparation for tonight. A man walked in and Chase tensed. He kissed me, “I have to go deal with something.” I nodded, “Alright. I have to go anyway.”

Ted stood announcing, “I’m coming with you.” We linked arms and ran to my house. I went ahead and hit my panels revealing my Black Arrow gear. I put it on. Ted laughed, “It’s a good thing Haley charmed your outfit to conceal your scent. The wolves around here would catch on that you are the Black Arrow.”

I hugged him then somewhat demanded, “You stay safe tonight, alright?” Ted laughed, “Me? I’ll be perfectly safe.” I asked, “What are you going to dress up as for the kids party?” He smiled, “I’m going as Lady and Matt is the Tramp.” I laughed, “Of course it’s aDisneythemed costume.” Ted flipped his head. “Of course! Matt put me in charge of costumes.” I agreed, “As he should.” My phone dinged.
